Thanks for the help guys. Was stuck between the Surefire SFMB-762 and the PWS-PRC. I decided to try the PWS. Don't think i will ever need a can for my .308, so that cancelled out the Surefire for the higher price. Looking forward to mounting it and shooting.

Took your advice and drove up to Tanners. I am the proud new owner of the used Supernova. It is in very good condition and well worth that price. Thanks for the Tip!

Any thoughts on a good muzzle brake or comp for my .308 bolt action rifle? It has a 20" threaded barrel. Looking to calm down the barrel rise a little. Thanks.

My thoughts also.

Florida requires actual firing of your weapon. You can provide an NRA basic pistol course certificate and they will accept that. Bangers only provides classroom time, no actual shooting time. Bangers class is good, got my Utah there, but you will need more if you want Florida.

All I can say is WOW! I am hooked, what a great time. Met some NJGF members, The guys from SJIDPA were awesome. Learned a lot of things. What a difference to shoot from a draw as opposed to standing at a table. Special thanks to Bill Morgan and Cory who lent me some equipment as mine was not quite good enough (Fobus Holster). 30 people showed up and the stages were fun. Looking forward to Quinton.

X-Bolt .308 20" Threaded Barrel Hog Stalker Carbon Fiber Stock. Soon to see a Surefire muzzle brake.. Looks like carbon fiber but is actually their Dura-Touch soft stock, very nice feel.

Picked up my new Browning X-Bolt yesterday. Hope to get out to the range today for sight-in. Has a cheap scope on it right now. Saving up for the good glass in a few weeks.

Is this any different from the tactical douche videos? How does someone not get shot with all the firing going on in this video. If these guys wanted to be Operators, they should have signed up for the military. Busting through a door shooting wildly and screaming "Merica!" is not proper training in my mind.
