  1. I received the official email 1 day after I picked up my permits. The process took 19 days from start to finish in East Windsor.
  2. https://evogov.s3.amazonaws.com/21/media/207572.pdf References can be family members for East Windsor permit applications. . .
  3. Newly issued permits have the Extension boxes filled in and signed-so they are good for six months up front. The local detective said that this is being done per new instructions from the State Police. My guess is that permits started under the old process will be extended according to the old precedures. . .
  4. You order from the web site. It's shipped to the dealer and you pck it up there.
  5. Plumsted Arms - Cream Ridge, NJ, one of the NJGF vendors offers this all the time for "pick up" orders.
  6. Sometimes this can be due to dealer error. I was told that my drivers license was "expired" since 1999 when it wasn't. (Nothing to do with NICS) Two days later the store called me to come pick up my gun. There never was an explanation about the reason for the problem.
  7. Comish, Can you please set "czechmark" up for auto draft tomorrow evening? I have a meeting and won't be online. It can't be any worse than my previous efforts. . . . Thanks, Paul O.
  8. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID). 3 P2P 2. Police Department where you applied. East Windsor Township 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. Detective Brian Gorski 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 7/14/2015 - 7/27/2015 / 13 days 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). none except for Dr's certification that a previous medical condition is in remission. 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.). A very pleasant experience.
  9. Howard, Any updates? These seem to be increasingly popular. What would you change, given your current knowledge? Paul O.
  10. The "Ammo Fairy". . . . I like it!
  11. Yes, this was my question. Sorry for the confusion. I was told that use of a modified gun for home defense would nullify any legal defense.
  12. Can anyone confirm that a gun modification (i.e., an improved trigger pull) would disqualify that gun for use as Home Defense? (You all hear all kinds of ideas at the range. . . . )
