  1. Quinton Sportsmen’s Club, Mullica Hill Rifle & Pistol Club are two more to look at.

They both allow guest and memberships at reasonable rates.
‘Quinton has a lot of programs....IDPA, USPSA, 3-Gun, Steel Challenge, Sporting Clays, Trap, 5-Stand....

MHRPC is a bare necessity club (and sometimes that’s all you need.
Both clubs have websites with membership details.

The MD has succeeded  in convincing the BOD of the club to devote the second Saturday of the month to this endeavor. If they do not get a large enough turn-out for these matches, all his hard work may go for naught.

How are you guys making out with this match?

Still going on the second Saturday of the month?

  3. I would appreciate any comments as far as whether the KEL-TEC Gen2 SUB2000 is good to go “as is” in NJ?

Is it a rifle or a Pistol? (Permit other than FID required?)

I understand are some adjustments with the stock, will it be required to be pinned?

Giving thought to purchase, would appreciate any pros or cons to owning one in NJ.

No specific use, just another option at the range.

    Thanks!

  4. So, I’m from along line of US Navy guys. Every Uncle, father, grandfather, etc. myself included. My son, choose the Air Force, he did 6 years active and has one year to go to retire from the reserves after 20. Great move on his part, he was smart, but he was a bit lazy, military put him on the right track, I could never be prouder of him.

My daughter (2 years older) on the other hand, went to college. I felt better with my son in the AF, then my daughter at college. His early CO’s, sent notes and cards assuring us of his progress. My wife had to lie to the college to get information as far as how my daughter was doing (parents do, what parents gotta do).

A piece of advice, when he goes to San Antonio for boot, start making plans for you to be there for his graduation. It’s a big deal, you don’t want to miss it.

  5. Related (I think)

Recently purchased a new Glock. Amongst the documentation was a postcard offering to send a 20% discount coupon code for Glock merchandise when you register for the warranty. Registered for the warranty as instructed - no discount code.

Makes me wonder if business is so good that they have no time for us, or maybe business might be going the other way resulting in nothing left for customer service....?

  6. CPR and Stop the Bleed

Two basic and popular classes, readily available (should be able to google to find classes sponsored by local hospitals, or EMS groups). If you can’t find a class, you should be able to find instructors (check with local EMS or Fire Department), have your church, gun range, senior citizen, Boy Scout or whatever social group you might be a part of to sponser the classes.
