  1. I realize that this is an old(ish) thread.... but where did you get that case?!!!! That's sweet. I'd appreciate some info. Thanks!
  2. I'm not one to concede a loss until my last player has posted his final points of the day... but I'm honestly expecting a defeat this week. So therefore I will congratulate Polska on a very solid week 2 victory. Bradford was awesome today. You must have been loving that! 2-0 start for the season. Very nice.
  3. In the military you also don't get the opportunity to get training whenever you feel like it. You get it when they give it to you. So lets trash the military now too, ok??? C'mon, who's first? Lets trash cops and the military. Go ahead. who's first? Roofers???
  4. "anointment from God"?????????? Wow..... Who said that?????? I didn't go there, so please lets not associate me with that kind of statement in any way. If anyone wants to twist my words or my opinions, lets please not twist them to levels that have nothng to do with my actual statements. I may have only 231 posts here on this forum, but I've lived life longer than I've been a member here.... so I'd appreciate some degree of respect for that, at least.
  5. Ok. Thanks I don't know you either. it's a big forum. But if this is the rule here... well.......
  6. Oh... the number of posts matter??? How sad.
  7. Then lets police our towns/cities/nation with roofers. I'm sure that they would never drive a nail wrong, nor would they ever make a bad judgement about dealing with everyday policing issues. And thanks for the 6th grade education. Btw, I'm not ignorant. I just possess a different opinion than you. Yeesh.
  8. Yeah. You two have totally destroyed every objective concept that I could ever conjur about THIS PARTICULAR issue. Bridges. Roofers. Nice comebacks. Hard to argue with those two unrelated issues, so... I won't. Unbelievable.
  9. Yeah...stocking shelves wrong is EXACTLY the same thing. And thanks for the spelling lesson. You have completely dismantled my opinion with that. Allow me to try this again... TEDIOUS
  10. So many tough-talking guys here who have never dealt with truly (and I mean TRULY) stressful situations, or even the most remote possibiltiy of a two-way rifle range... and they are always the strictest criticts of those who are (potentially) in those situations every fricken day. So to all of you, I say: Walk the walk, or STFU. EVERYONE can judge others.... but what about you? Are you PERFECT at ALL TIMES??? T E D I U O U S : /
  11. +1 on OSA. Plus, there aren't a whole lot of other choices up here in Bergen County - other than Ramsey Outdoor. But I can't really see Ramsey Outdoor working with you the way that you'll specifically need them to. So maybe give OSA a chance to take a look at your wish-list. They may actually be able to start checking-off some items on your list right away for you. It's either that, or travel. Or........ <shudder> the internet : o ; )
  12. Doesn't that depend more on the shooter than on the rifle? Look within Joe... that's not something that you can "buy" on the cheap ; ) You're on a strange quest... but it's cool that your building. I just don't understand the motivation aside from the word "CHEAP". But to each his own, so the more power to you for doing it your own way. But are you sure that you'll truly be satisfied with your rifle after it's actually been built?
  13. Not true, but it's hilarious regardless... because it sounds like it could be true. Any story about a bunch of mamby-pamby cookie-puss PETA jackwagons is worth a laugh - true or not : P http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/leatherprotest.asp
  14. I had seen that ATI when I was searching for a lower for my own build. And yes, it's cheap (and that's what actually drew me to it in the first place). But it's also plastic, and that raised a red flag for me. Yes, Glock is also plastic, but it's all Glock. The AR platform on the other hand is modular, so that lower has to fit with other elements of the rifle (and a mag). So while you might be surprised by the quality of the molding right now, I would hope that you'll still feel the same way after you attempt to marry that lower with other AR parts. I'll be curious to hear from others here who have built and fitted and fired (and banged around) a poly lower. Therefore I'll restrict my comments to my own particular concerns about the plastic/modular aspect - and I won't pretend to know anything beyond my own particular uncertaintly about those aspects. That said... I loved building my AR, so I hope that you'll enjoy the experience as well
  15. Whatevers. Typical Funny or Die stuff. Not very ('funny', that is). Btw... isn't there already a Black NRA? Bloods..... Crips. Don't those "organizations" already cover that need?? Because I don't get it; is Sarah saying that guns are only for white people? (and white hispanics?) It's all so confusing. And before anyone gets their panties all into a twist, yes... I do actually get it; It's funny for the children! Tee-hee.
  16. My Sega Genesis is still sitting on a shelf in a closet right now. With Madden '94 and NBA Jam ready to lock & load. Not new condition, of course, so it would probaly fetch.... oh..... at least $5 at a garage sale. So I'm now planning my retirement. How exciting!
  17. That would be pretty funny : P (well, not for you of course, but still) Btw Eastwood... good game brother. Back and forth all day, and close till the end. AJ had me sweating it out down the stretch. (yes... I actually watched the 2nd game to the very end. 2am. Didn't everybody???)
  18. Palmetto State Armory will now be only a last resort for me going forward (if at all). I'm now into my 10th day of waiting for my order to be processed. And 3 requests for info (1 email, 2 via their online messaging system) went completely ignored. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I finally decided to call them directly. It was a long wait (very long!) on hold, but I was glad to hear (probably about 20 times or so) that my call was very important to them. Whew! That came as a huge relief to me, because I was beginning to wonder if they really gave a rat's patooey about their customers. Anyway, when I finally did get a live customer service rep, he told me that they are backed up. (paging Capt Obvious!). So I asked him how long it typically takes for PSA to process/ship an order. Answer: 5 business days. (funny.... my order was almost double the typical process/ship time, so yep.... they're pretty backed up all right) However... I was assured that I would recieve a tracking number by the end of the day. And I did! At 10:06 PM. Only one probelem.... the package didn't actually ship - it was only assigned a tracking number. It still hasn't shipped. The order is still "processing" at PSA. But they did say that I'd get a tracking number, so woo-freakin-hoo on that. (btw, I'm very familiar with shipping logistics, so no need to educate me on the process) Palmetto State Armory PAINFULLY SLOW to process orders. COMPLETLY UNRESPONSIVE to their customers. BOGUS shipping info just to take the heat off of them if you should happen to call. Btw, I could handle the delayed processing/shipping if they would have been responsive to any of my multiple requests for info. But they weren't, and that shows a serious disregard and disrespect for thier customers. Bad on them. BUYER BEWARE (unless you don't care about timeliness and customer service, of course) I'm sure (actually I'm guessing) that there are many positive buying experiences with PSA, so good for you if that is your experience. But this is my experience. And it is my first buying experience with PSA - and now my last. The complete lack of respect for their customers sealed the deal on that.
  19. Yeah, Yahoo's live scoring is really sloppy. My score also changed as well since last night (although it had no impact on this week's matchup results). Poor checko.... he's gonna be SHOCKED! Lesson learned: never trust the scoring until THURSDAY. That's when Yahoo finalizes the scoring. Until then, changes will be applied - and I've seen swings of as many as 7 points long after the fact.
  20. I understand what you're saying. But I know people from Taxachusetts... and the Giants are a Super Bowl rival to them. A week 4 loss to a division rival is a week 4 loss. But a Super Bowl loss is a HEARTBREAKING part of history. That stings! Otherwise, you're right. Why would they care about us. We certainly don't care about them. They're irrelevant.
  21. More than just "games". CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES!!!
  22. I can think of 2 reasons right off the top of my head. See below... Other than that... I have no idea! : )
