  1. Have a nice example for sale in the marketplace. I have ammo for this rifle in stock as well. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/2385-swiss-k31-straight-pull-bolt-action-rifle/
  2. THIS^^^^^^ There are quite a few shotguns and .22 rifles that were made without serial numbers before 1968, Marlin probably being the most common. they are not a problem to buy, sell and own in NJ.
  3. If you really beleive that, you had better get to Costco and buy the industrial sized roll tin foil............ The NJSP is streched too thin and doesn't have the money in their budget to phyically search through 4473's en masse to find guns they may find objectionable. They didn't do anything remotely like that back in 1990 when the original AWB was passed. Bloomberg, Soros or any other anti gun billionare isn't going to get more troopers transfered temporarily to the FIU to go on a witch hunt, NJSP just doesn't have the manpower to spare.
  4. THIS^^^^^^^^^ NJ does not know what long guns you are buying, even when purchased in NJ. The only way they would be able to check this is to manually search the mountain of entries in a dealer's hand written bound book or a more tedious search of 4473 copies when doing an audit of a dealer. The NJSP simply doesn't have the man power to collect this information outside of some extraordinary unusual reason to do such a search.
  5. Owning land does not make you a dual resident, you must have a home in both locations.
  6. I did a transfer for a guy who was arrested (I don't know exactly what for, but I got the impression it was serious enough) and the charges were later dismissed. He had no problems getting PPP's but said he always gets put in pending when he does his NICS checks, but is always approved later on (anywhere from 10 minutes to a day later).
  7. It's with all the affordable .22LR ammo - nowhere to be found.
  8. Firearms discharging is regulated by municipalities in NJ, so you'll need to check with the town if it's allowed. You will also need to have an appropriate back stop and be shooting in a save direction.
  9. The transfer must be done through a dealer in NC when you get there.
  10. I have one in stock that is all matching and in overall nice shape if anyone is interested........
  11. WELCOME!!!!!!! NY law requires all handguns to be registered in NY, possession of an unregistered handgun in NY is serious crime. NY does not allow non residents to register handguns in NY, so there is no legal way to bring a handgun into NY if you are a NJ resident (except for a few very limited exceptions that you will probably never take part in). If transiting through NY with a handgun you can do so under the FOPA rules, but even that is somewhat perilous.
  12. THIS^^^^^^ NJ was enjoined from enforcing the AWB against air guns. Coalition of New Jersey Sportsmen v. Florio, 744 F.Supp. 602
  13. THIS^^^^^^^^ Get a MIG, you'll do nothing but burn though light sheet metal with a stick welder.
  14. Any interest in a Colt Commander in .45 ACP? http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/1957-colt-commander-1991-a1-45-acp/
