  1. Well, free is good if you have an iPhone or android https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shot-trainer/id1419858879 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csl1911a1.livefiretrainer&hl=en&gl=US
  2. Generally you can get really expensive match stuff like Laupa pistol match stuff but $14+ a box of 50 is crazy money. .15 - .20 a round for 22lr right now is a decent price. I don’t think we are going to see .05 a round again anytime soon I’m pretty loaded up on 22lr right now but I try to put up deals when I find them to help out everyone else. -Jim
  3. ... and they are gone. Hope someone was able to grab some...
  4. https://www.sgammo.com/product/22-lr-ammo/325-round-brick-22-lr-federal-automatch-bulk-pack-40-grain-lead-1200-fps-ammo-am2 Not a bad price in the current market and it’s tough to find even 22lr in bulk lately. Get them while they are still available... -Jim
  5. Mine was sent in two shipments with about 3 days between them. The fist had the gift light and one i3T light and the second has the second i3T and the PL-Mini2. I’m really liking the flashlights. My wife is keeping the free one in her purse. The PLxMini2 is really nicely made and I like the adjustability of it. It’s on my P220 right now.
  6. The APX is a nice gun that doesn't get enough credit. I really like the P320 as well. I waffled between the P320 and the Walther PPQ but ended up with the PPQ. I am not regretting getting the PPQ, it's probably the best out-of-the-box gun I have had closely followed by my CZ-75 SP01. I love revolvers though. I have more revolvers than semi-autos... the last one I bought was a used S&W 625 45 ACP 4" barrel. Sweet gun. @Pizza Bob , you aren't alone in liking your revolvers -Jim
  7. Sad to hear. I have the CZ-75 SP01 which does have the firing pin block. There are articles around that some people take them out of the CZ-75 and CZ-75 SP-01 for competition so if anyone has a used CZ-75 or CZ-75 SP-01, you may want to verify it has the firing pin block if you like to have that extra security. -Jim
  8. https://www.olightstore.com/o-flash-sale.html If you create an account for their site you also get a free i3E EOS keychain light I went for the package with two additional i3T EOS lights as well for $66.00. You can never ave too many flashlights 5 hours left on the flash sale so grab them quick! -Jim
  9. Do you see NJ staying stagnant on the gun laws in that environment? As you say, we are on the front edge of the "screwing curve" all the junk they want to push to the rest of the country will come here and CA first to see how it plays out...
  10. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-28/remington-auctioned-off-to-seven-bidders-in-bankruptcy-court https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2020/10/01/roundhill-group-purchases-remington/ The Roundhill Group bought the rights to the Remington brand weapons but Vista Outdoors bought the Remington name and IP so if they want to use the Remington name, they'll have to cut a deal with Vista. -Jim
  11. I'd say go out to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and take a class on using a shotgun before buying. You can try out a shotgun or two there as part of a class so you will have a better idea of what you are looking for and how to use it for a reasonable price before you buy anything. https://www.lvsclays.com/lessons/ Might even get a new hobby out of it -Jim
  12. Hoping they get better and remain with minor or no symptoms. I couldn't imagine how bad Trump would be to have as a patient though, the arguments with the White house medical staff on his treatment, let alone his diet while he is sick, would be epic LOL -Jim
  13. I saw an interview with him last week. He’s great! This is the district that the Dems committed voter and mail fraud during the primary. -Jim
  14. Yeah, I have to stick my head out of the cave more often I guess LOL...
  15. You know, I looked at it and thought it was posted the 18th not the 8th. I need more coffee.
  16. Man, you need to give a little more notice on this, I don’t check the board every day... Anyway, hope you all had fun, yesterday was a nice day for it, -Jim
  17. I stumbled on this but don't need any at the moment but the price seems pretty reasonable in the current environment so I figured I'd shoot up a flare. https://www.selwayarmory.com/cci-blazer-45-acp-230-gr-full-metal-jacket-box-of-50.html only 10 boxes left on the site so grab them quick if you need them. -Jim
  18. This ^ GP100 with 38 special with a 3 or 4" barrel is very controllable and comfortable to shoot. My wife likes the GP100 Match Champion quite a bit. -Jim
  19. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1021321195 I just placed an order in for 2 bags and the price isn't bad considering 9mm is going for upwards of $1.00 a round right now. I have a reasonable amount 9mm brass right now but picking up a little extra during the current ammo situation doesn't hurt. -Jim
  20. I think it has to do with the type of case. If a state, CA, brings a case to the 9th circuit against a federal law or EO then it effects the federal law or EO. If an individual or group brings a case to the 9th claiming a state, CA, has broken federal law, 2A, then it only effects the state named in the case for the law named in the case. Since it is in a district court it can be used as case precedent against similar laws in other states subject to the court’s jurisdiction. That’s why if this ruling stands in the 9th circuit, it will only effect the area covered by the 9th circuit. The ruling isn’t against a federal law, but a state law. At least that is how I understand it, not a lawyer -Jim
  21. They shouldn’t, the stay on the law is still in place until the Judge releases it. The 9th circuit sent the case back for further investigation so it’s not like this is a slam dunk and CA is allowing standard capacity mags now. There’s still a decent chance this gets smacked down by an en banc judgement of the 9th.
