You're not at all ignorant. You just feel differently. Why does one way have to be right and one way have to be wrong? Do what you like in your home and others can do what they want, no? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

NJ Firearm Law and Civil War
Norseman replied to Arne's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I mean I don't think too many of us WANT to go to war against our government. In fact I think the government will have to become even more tyrannical before it would ever happen. But history teaches us one thing: we WILL have a revolution eventually. Eventually they will squeeze when there is not a thing more they can squeeze and we will snap. But right now we still are more comfortable than just about any other country so I don't really see it happening any time soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free -

I was reading all these and chuckling last week. And then I was all finished cleaning my .45 and went to put my kit away but the cover wouldn't close all the way so I could lock it with the plastic hinge locks. So I opened it back up, made sure everything was all back in place nicely and stood over it to put more weight on it and force it to shut properly ...and pinched my thumb/index finger webbing in the lid LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Ah man now I can't find that ad. And I'm sure it's probably gone now. I have to find that list of online retailers that sell to NJ that somebody posted. Anyone have a link to that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I see there is an ad in the marketplace for 45 ammo but because I'm a newbie to the site it won't let me reply. If you want to PM me I will give you my phone number and we can meet up. Thanks! Norseman Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Sorry if this isn't the right spot to start this thread. Also sorry if this topic has been discussed. I went to Google a make/model gun in the "Shopping" section of Google and all that comes up is accessories. No actual gun for sale posts. And there was only three pages at that?? That's a clear indication of the Cold War on guns that we are engaged in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I definitely am going to look into taking some courses. Also I've got a very good friend who's a LEO and been handling guns ...training (as trainee and trainer) for many many years. We spoke on the phone last night (he saw me post something on Facebook asking if anyone wanted to go to the range and called). He's got a range we are going to start going to (starting this afternoon!!) and he told me we're not gonna just go out there and pop off a bunch of rounds and leave. He is going to train me as if I was going to be one of his reports. So I'm pretty excited about that!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

What is your go to EDC blade
Norseman replied to WhitetailMathewsZ7's topic in Knives, Blades & Other Edged Instruments
I am a huge fan of ESEE knives! Go on the ESEE forum and you'll learn a TON and not about their knives. Look on usamadeblade.com for some good deals on them too (pretty sure tax and shipping is included in their price) The Izula is a great knife. I've got one and you literally can shave with it after several weeks of use. ESEE's hold an edge unbelievably. Here's a pic of a couple ESEEs I have: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free -
Ok cool thanks for the info guys (and thanks for the laughs Damjan and Smartass!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Once again: I'm new to handgun ownership. Before purchasing my XD any handgun I'd ever shot was loaded and handed to me. So I'm so cautious around my guns and ammo, I treat the stuff like its nitroglycerin. Do I have to be so extremely safe with it? Like if I God forbid accidentally dropped a .45 round what's the odds of it going off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Yeah I did a lot of research before plunking down on it. And got to put about 20 rounds through it. Man am I hooked on it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Thanks to all the guys that PM'd me! Several of you commented on the fact that I'm an unknown newbie here - so I just wanted to say that I am actually a long time member of the ESEE forum and also NJ Hunter forum. I JUST bought my first handgun Sunday and the seller turned me onto this site. I look forward to getting more into this hobby and getting to know you guys!
