  1. I was going to say, you might be in a slight misunderstanding as to exactly when he's planning on coming out. He might want or need to wait until the snow melts off. I would even suggest he wait until the season is over to do the repair. If it happened once it can happen again. Perhaps tomorrow, you give him a call and calmly discuss his thoughts on when he plans on coming out. I would even have ready for him the material source so he knows exactly what is needed to replace it. Finally, if you don't already have it, install a call recorder app on your cell phone, or do most of your conversing through texts. It helps for everyone to have a more precise/written record of what was said and when.
  2. Also for the record, I've never bought from CTD ever... as they've never been cheaper on anything I've wanted.
  3. If supply was so sufficiently collapsed that $20/gallon was needed to control demand, I'd be buying my own fucking cow and just getting my milk from the source. restrictions on free market pricing (not to include collusion, that anti-free market) do NOTHING but hurt us in the long run. They're the camel's nose under the tent.
  4. even if they're essential goods, the free market should have free reign to set prices as it sees fit. gotta take the (very small) bad with the (much greater) good.
  5. so that was truly a sucky storm. with the change over to sleet around 1am while we were out servicing, it turned what was manageable into a painful slogfest.
  6. btw, that's not the tires its running now for the winter. studded version.
  7. You know, I'd love to see that tested. I'd be willing to bet that kind of damage happens pretty fast, especially if you've gotten up to highway speed.
  8. Were there any Marines near by recently?
  9. No. My inspections are due 2/2021. you can go up to 2 months in advance. ergo if I go now I can get my 2023 sticker now, and not have to wait for february to come around, and not have to drive anything in possibly foul weather/roads.
  10. Okay now that you ding dongs have gone completely around the bend on this subject, is anyone have any actual information as if the 2023 stickers have arrived?
  11. I camera better not be on that ship...
  12. somebody didn't wear a face mask at Six Flags?
  13. Strangers in the night.... exchanging glances...
  14. I guess. I'm just trying to avoid having to go in february with 6' of snow on the ground, which is how it will work for me.
  15. because stickers are 2 years out from date of inspection. and you can go up to 2 months before your inspection month. therefore 2023 stickers are supposed to be available in november of 2020.
  16. but did they have 2023 stickers yet?
  17. getting in and out was never a problem in terms of masses of cars. this past time it was simply the state being lazy fucks in terms of getting the needed materials to do their job. @Golf battery any news to report?
  18. I'm just trying to get 2 rides done before the snow and shit roads hit.
  19. Yeah but that's a different style of sticker. That one they can put the numbers on period the other stickers have the year printed on them as part of the sticker, and they only add the month.
  20. If anyone is going this month, could you ask them if they've gotten in the 2023 stickers yet? Calling is less than useless, and I'd prefer not wasting another 70 minute round trip to get turned away. Thanks!
