Thanks guys, I'm going to try to make it out tomorrow morning. I'm going to do some research and find some steel that is bulletproof. Anybody have any sugesstions, how about 1" plate mild steel? If I can shoot this I'm going to go ahead and give it a blast with the Sks and see what happens. I'll post all the picks.

I just got back from the range, I couldn't use the target because no one was there to give it the okay. Before I left I ground them smooth. I did bag me some paper though, I hear that's some good eatin...

Thanks Nick, Its just regular mild steel but most of the plates were used for pad welding with 7018 smaw or groove welding with dual shield mig 70. Will the 45 dimple 1/2" mild steel?

It took me a whole 3 hours to make out of some stuff I had laying around. I'm going to test it out tomorrow (if USANA will let me) and if it works good I'm going to paint it. The targets are 1/2" plate (I think) that were used for pad welding coupons. They are attached to solid square stock and some pipe so they spin around. I had some push mower wheels to wheel it around, works good. I didn't want to make it too wide so it can fit through a standard doorway.

Why not get into reloading?

I'm a southern Jerseyer, the furthest north I ever rode illegally is Clayton sand mine in Jackson, that place is heaven. Have you ever rode there? Have you ever rode any of the new 4 strokes?

I'm just busting yer balls man, Yeah I raced MX for a little over 12 years both bikes and quads. Yes I have rode/raced all of the above except 450 and 480 2 strokes. I was a die hard 2 stroke fan until I rode a stock YZ450F (just pipe, properly jetted and air filter) up a hill and it didn't bog down like a yz250 2 stroke does. I was in the quad mood at that time and bought one of Pat Brown's YFZ450's in 2007 and never looked back. No more DNF's because I smoked the clutch trying to get power, no more DNF's because of the top end melting or just blowing up for no reason, no more down shifting going up the hills in PA and NY, No more rebuilding it five times a season. Just low maintenance, twice the power RIGHT OFF IDLE AND ALL THE WAY UP!!! Once a year rebuild, finish every race, if you don't have time to go to the shop and get oil, or if you just forgot, you can run pump gas and still win. I can go on forever but mostly the power of a 4 stroke 450 is amazing compared to a 250 2 stroke, or any 2 stroke. That's awesome man, I hope they have it live and cover it as good as Speed did... and Erin "Big Boobies" Bates.

I have a 10 round straight feed Butler Creek on I got at Cabellas and it works awesome. It looks similar to the one in the link. They sell a 25 round Butler Creek, can we buy it and just pin it ourselves?

I think its so the end caps cover the holes and make it leak proof.

That's awesome man. How about instead of putting rubber on the end of the bolts maybe use those cap head nuts, ever see them? You may have to trim the bolts or use extra washers so they don't bottom out.

How are youse guys carrying guns? I thought that was illegal in NJ unless your a police officer or an armored car person and get the permit.
