  1. In order affect change and stem the tide of these oppressive gun laws, one MUST vote. The easiest way is through an absentee ballot aka vote by mail. No excuses: http://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/voting-information-vote-by-mail.html Also if you're not registered to vote, please do so. Here is the link: http://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/voting-information-voter-registration-forms.html I hope this helps everyone. Let's have our voices heard!!! Admins, can you pin this?
  2. Here is the link to the absentee ballot aka vote by mail. Just click on your county and fill out the form. No need to drive to the polls. I strongly suggest everyone to sign up: http://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/voting-information-vote-by-mail.html
  3. Normally I don't see the need for subcompacts, as we can't cc in NJ and are all law abiding citizens. I'd rather have the max ammo capacity. But if you have a 2nd home in PA, etc...well that's a totally different story. Or maybe you can hide the pistol easier around the house?
  4. I don't have a problem with owners asking to see your FID...saves the shop keeper from wasting his time on people who cannot even buy.
  5. That's the reason why for defensive purposes I use a Glock. It's not sexy mind you...but works.
  6. I've had nothing but great experiences with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore. Great prices and free/quick shipping: https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/
  7. Agreed. I can't wait till Mayor Full-Flop loses in NJ Supreme Court. What he is doing is ILLEGAL!
  8. Wow looks great...I have seen some of these band at NOLA JAZZFST.
  9. Me too...I've suspected this as well.
  10. I think it is on the rise - especially with the present administration in the White House. There are so many of my friends, who never thought of owning a firearm previously, that are now new gun owners. Hell, check out the range on Saturday...it's packed!
  11. Pretty nice - directly competes with S&W's popular "Shield" line.
  12. I think the biggest complaint I have with the Sig Mosquito is the trigger - it really sucks. Question to Mosquito owners: have you done any trigger work to this pistol to improve the trigger pull weight/smoothness? Results?
  13. Shot both the Sig Mosquito and the Ruger SR22. Had no problems with either and both shoot equally well (no FTF/FTE). The Mosquito: Pro - looks and feels like a real gun Con - shoots the expensive stuff, and the trigger REALLY sucks. The SR22: Pro: better trigger, and also shoots the cheaper stuff Con: has a "toy" feel I would lean toward the Ruger SR22 because of the trigger and ammo.

    Glock or M&P

I would go with the Glock.
  15. Ordered 9mm ammo. Problem was not the FID request, but the shipping address - would not ship to my work. Also annoyed that PSA never mentioned they required my FID until after I sent emails two weeks after order was placed inquiring why my [in stock] ammo had not shipped. Plus after PSA emailed me saying they would refund my credit card, it took 30 DAYS TO GET THE CHARGES REVERSED. Will never use PSA again for ammo.
  16. Hey nice...those pink accents are sweet. May have to do the same for the Mrs.
  17. Oh crap I purchased this a few days ago...I think I may have made a mistake not going for a Ruger
  18. Try using ammo that has at minimum velocity of 1180 (115) or 1148 (124)
  19. Just an FYI Palmetto State Armory required a copy of my FID card (and only mentioned it to me AFTER I emaled them 3x about why my order of in-stock ammo has not yet shipped) and ONLY delivers to the address listed on the FID card. Sucks for me because I usually ship to my work address since I'm never home during delivery hours, and our mailroom can sign for the packages.

    Glock 19Gen4

I put a Glock OEM 3.5 lb connecter on my G19 G4 - didn't see the advantage of using aftermarket like Ghost, etc. Happy with the upgrade.
  21. Used Rick about a month ago for NICS/FFL...great service!
