  1. Shawn, I'm going toss you under the bus here. I apologize.

Have you guys not learned to stfu on public forumns? Anything that could possibly back door aid us?

    Cmon guys, think.

And if you grumpy old men had all the answers, we would not have these problems.

There were many people yelling and crying on his FB page that "he" stated the reasoning behind introducing this legislation. There's no way any opposing CCW that is a part of the NJ legislator wouldn't have been able to guess why he's doing it.

I never understood why people think politicians are stupid when it comes to this stuff. They know exactly what they are doing and the wanted end.

  2. Okay,

But.... Since when does linking to a website establish any site as "Alex Jones Light"? And, you don't visit TPATH but know enough to evaluate and label it? Pretty impressive.

We link to Drudge Report too. Sure would like to be Drudge Report Light. We link to about 20 conservative websites where we feel important information can be found. Alex Jone's InfoWars is just one of them, which by the way is as pro gun as Ammoland.com, which we also link to.

Anyway, back to SAPPA. Nick and I are preparing a letter to Governor Christie. Since he has joined the Trump Campaign (a real supporter of the 2nd Amendment) we decided to get specific with him. The letter will challenge him to send out and Executive Order instructing his judges and the many police chiefs in NJ to loosen up the "show need" clause that the state has been using to prevent carry permits. He would be within his powers to "clarify any portion or section of any existing law" by use of the EO. We feel this will give him some talking points that would prove he has actually made it easier for New Jerseyans to get permits (as opposed to that little fib he told in one of his last debates), as he stumps the campaign trail with Trump. We'll let you know how we make out.

Nick wanted to do this as part of the anticipated meeting that is in the works. But his joining the Trump campaign may present us with a unique opportunity to put some added pressure on him.

    Thanks everyone,

    Dwight

He went with Trump because they both are against the 2nd Amendment. Trump has supported the "assault rifle" ban and only recently (presidential campaign) started becoming a fan of the 2A. He's been a registered democrat until he decided to ruin, he's been funding democrat campaigns for years, Trump is not a friend of the average persons freedom. Trump thinks his sister, who supports partial birth abortion, would be great for the Supreme Court and that judges are responsible for signing bills. He is a charlatan, a liar, a big business corporate bully that uses illegal immigrants for labor, and would gladly sell you to China to make a buck.

  4. You're giving them way to much credit, they're idiots that know nothing about guns, gun ownership, target shooting or hunting - all of which would be impacted by this. This restriction on ammo purchases is so severe it's not going to pass and even if it did how would they enforce it? The SAFE act required a background check and IMMEDIATE reporting of all ammo sales to the NYSP. NY has already given up on those provisions of the SAFE act because they don't have the money to implement those provisions of the law.

They dont care. They don't need to care. Because as long as they keep giving free stuff to people that don't want to work and don't want any personal responsibility, they will have the votes to stay in office and continue to abuse others rights.

  5. Derecho. Just discovered that word today.

Same thing happened a couple years ago.

I live very close to the Deptford Mall, where the car got flipped. Power has been out since 6pm, went be back on till Thursday allegedly. Only consequence from the storm.

  6. I think its a federal thing honestly. When I was in the Marines I had to get reprinted for clearance since the ones they had on file were over 5 years old. I live in Edison as well and saw it on the form so I assume its the same. Didnt think much of it. Other than it will be annoying when the time comes.

It's not a federal thing. It's just a way for the state and whatever police department to inconvenience lawful gun owners. Plain and simple.

  7. "Training" would make very little difference in the real world. If additional mandatory training actually made things better, it would be required for driving to prevent accidents, doctors to prevent medical malpractice, cooking to prevent burns, cuts, and house fires, or at work to prevent workmans comp claims.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink it.

  8. I highly recommend the Midnight Moon strawberry. The berries are horrible but the booze is great. I've tried the other Midnight Moon flavors and they are OK but my fav is the strawberry.

The cherry shine and and sprite is a dangerous combination. I love getting people to eat one if the cherries too. Tastes great and horrible and great at the same time.

  9. I'm sure this has been said already, Taylor ham is New Jersey. Pork roll is every where else. Every coast state has a beach, except NJ. We have the shore. Every one has a buttered roll. except NJ. we have a roll with butter. It's a Jersey thing. Like the 10 round mag.

Pork Roll is New Jersey. taylor ham is southern New York.
