  1. As always correct answer is to get both. Personally I got 455 and m&p 15-22 to cover interest in bolt and semi-auto.
  2. Related to topic question. I want to try shooting clay at "Thunder Mountain Skeet & Trap Shooting Center" tomorrow with a couple [not-shooting] friends. Never did it before and do not own shotgun yet. Is this place to go or there are other recommendations? Maybe some place where I can rent O/U shotgun?
  3. Real threats are covered. They just not make much of a story in sensational big media. I have no doubts that learning from Ukrainian troops is the main objective of the training that USA provides to Ukraine: http://www.defensenews.com/story/defense/policy-budget/warfare/2015/08/02/us-army-ukraine-russia-electronic-warfare/30913397/
  4. Any opinions about CZ shotguns? They have quite affordable semi-auto and O/Us. Reviews are mixed bag though mostly because people keep recommending something else instead of CZ like 'What about CZ...? -I do not know but you can get used [insert name] for the same price".
  5. Bush bombed one country that had little to do with 9/11 and another that had nothing to do with it at all. And when he could not catch number one target at once then osama became 'not important' (in 2002). Bush also killed hundreds of thousands random people in those countries. Also dead are 7000 only US soldiers (not counting coalition death) and tens thousands wounded. Costs of those wars is unimaginable both lives and money wise. Results of those wars are beyond questionable and it did not stop radicalism at all (or we would not have this topic). Commentator in video said she does not care about facts or anything she just want to repeat what Bush did. This is beyond stupid. She can go to hell with her outrage. Bush maybe did not play golf but still spent half of his presidency on vacation. My understanding he was fishing a lot. Where was conservative's outrage? Did you hear about any good deals discussed over fishing? I am not going to post anymore in this topic since obviously you guys are listening only your songs. And it is ok with me.
  6. Another misplaced conservative B.S. coming out of pretty mouth. Under Obama US government killed more high valued terrorists than ever with minimum loss of US soldier's lives. Currently the biggest enemy to USA is Russia. And I bet ISIS will disappear without help from Russia.

    Benelli M4 - Where?

slickguns shows some deals on m4 almost every day in the last couple weeks.
  8. I have R-01902. They work quite well indoor/outdoor and have NRR 30.
  9. I took my conservative republican friends to the range several times and none of them converted to like guns. I am neither conservative nor republican and I get guns. Now I am bloody gun murderer in the mind of both my progressive and conservative friends. I converted one friend, he spoke no politics yet.
  10. There is no way to win this argument because both sides are right/wrong in their own way.
  11. History is getting updated. It seems like Kalashnikov borrowed ideas of some German engineers. It explains why he was one shot genius and some other questions.
  12. My first .22 is CZ455 and I am quite happy with it. But now I know that Ruger American Rimfire was a better practical choice for a first rifle because of its modular stock. I find that I need to adjust stock on CZ and it means that rifle keeps getting more and more expensive (with zero resale value on add-ons). Also I do not know how much adjustment I need, so I have to experiment (more money). Most likely there would be no such additional expenses with Ruger.
  13. She stated before she became congresswoman that she has antigun agenda. I asked her several times on facebook to explain her position on gun control and she just deleted my and some other's guy questions. I was proud of Rush Holt being my representative even when we did not agree on more than one question. But this representative is just a disgrace.
  14. Huh? I thought it was a special kind of test road that let only determined people to the range!
  15. It sounds great! I hope a complete match will take less or about 3 hours though.
  16. It is hard to describe because there are many things that make it uncomfortable. I am reading 'ABC of Rifle Shooting'; it goes deep into whatever topic is covered. It will most definitely point into some mistakes, and I know what I want to achieve. Good thing I can figure it out without firing a shot, right at home.
  17. And here it is: I was very happy by today's 'get to know each other' session. Groups were the best I ever produced despite the fact it was my first time shooting at 50 yards, and second time shooting scope and shooting this rifle. I even shot a shotshell on a stick at 50 yards. Fun! The only thing that it was very uncomfortable to handle it for some reason. I feel I need to take some classes to learn how to shoot it properly.
  18. I know nothing about this rifle but there is CZ 452 Scout for young shooters out there.
  19. PrimaryArms MD-ADS and UltraDot user here. Both are great with caveat that I used both only on .22lr guns.
  20. Thanks Steve. I ordered CZ 455 Varmint. I held it in my hands some time ago and it felt great after all.
  21. Yeah, I looked at rimfirecentral, thefiringlane etc. They all say that brj and tr are fine rifles but they are just not as fine as similarly priced CZ...
  22. No matter what is the price level of the gun I read everywhere about all "necessary" customizations like replace stock, replace trigger, replace barrel etc. It brings the question; is it possible to buy just that small part that makes gun a gun and get all that customized stuff separately?
  23. Does anybody have any opinion on Savage Arms Mark II BRJ vs TR?
