Edison, 3+ months, no news.

NO WAY. NEVER.

Call and get replied "when it's done it's done"

Still waiting for my handgun permits from Edison PD. 68 days so far and not a single update.

Oregon I believe.

I don't buy from sites require FID. Not going to give a penny to them.

OK here's the update: after 50 days I was notified that my FID is ready for pickup. Thanks for the info guys!

Met Steve today, very nice fellow. Would recommend to friends.

Emailed them about the status and got replied saying "packet is going through background check".

Oh man, that doesn't sound great at all.

Same person I met. She's pretty nice.

Have submitted my application on 3/19, fingerprinted on 3/26 and references (my buddies live out of state) returned the forms on 3/31. On 4/23 they emailed me about my alien registration number, and after I went there in person gave them the number, they told me that my documents are complete. Anyone knows how long will it take after that? PS: The woman on the phone is always impatient about questions, but seems that persons on site (I believe there's one lady named Candice Gibson, there was another guy on that day too) are quite nice. Now it's the 42nd day and still no news...

How long does it typically take after the PD told you all documents required are in place?
