This is a Colt 1911 made in 1944. When my father passed away, he left it to me. I has two magazines with "L" stamped on the lip of the mags. Sorry about the pics not being all that clear. First time at this. All comments welcome, Not sure what I have here interms of grade and value.

While on a range website, the NJGF was mentioned. Not knowing about it , I checked it out and here I am.
