And i dont see any horns. Has anyone tried one of the ACOG knock offs. Stumbled one some on wish.com they range from $60 to $125. Which says enough. But if reviews are genuine. Some seem worth the gamble. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  7. The XDM is 16 round mags. Is this NJ compliant?
  8. I had 3 PTP's expire, issued same time as my FID. Didn't realize they were only good for 3 months at a time. Only realized after sending paperwork to FFL after purchasing HG. Had to go through the whole process over again, 6 weeks later I was approved for 3 more. And was able to pick up purchase. Made sure to not let 2 remaining PTP's expire. Renewed for another 3 months. Was awfully disappointing realizing the ordeal one must go through to purchase HG in NJ.

  11. Doesn't have to be.. i'm looking for 40 or even 45 have enough in 9mm. looking to change it up. Although the price for the FN is only in 40 if memory servers me correctly. The XDM a little more in 45. think 499.

  13. Theres another option available thru Trinity Solar, Trinity will pay for the panels installation.... everything, even give you up to $1000 if you need to remove / top some trees. But they own the panels and receive the rebates. But you save on electric bill. I have a friend who went this route and is loving it. I'm getting a new roof tomorrow. Plan on going solar soon after. .
  14. Welcome Lucky, I was on the fence as well, so glad I jumped it though. lol Can't believe next month will be 1 yr membership. This forum has great people who are quick to help, and always good for a laugh. Look forward to talking with ya. Happy Easter
  15. Ferrets are great, you can get them decented.. which dont smell as much. But I highly recommended a Rat! My personal fav are hairless ones: dumbo rex. Awesome animals smart as shit. Very loving and addictive. Easy to train. I went everywhere with mine. Another amazing pet i had was a pot belly pig. Talk about a smart animal, affectionate. He was hard to get rid of. He lived inside with us just like the dog. Lol But after he grew to 150 lbs and was able to tear the carpet up with a swipe of his nose. Couldn't keep em. Luckily was able to donate him to johnsons park. Now they have minpigs or teacup pigs. Just have to research the breeder. Some sell potbellys as mins. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  16. Purp you read my mind. lol Jiuj How are you on help? Can you use a hand building / clearing?
  17. Good for you bro, If you have the land and are a responsible shooter. Or anyone for that matter. imo you should be able to build a shooting range on you're property. One thing I found was the closest dwelling has to be min 500ft away. Hope it works out for ya.
  18. I believe so Purp, Shes been a little under the weather lately. Had to take few days off. But word as of yest is shes feeling better.
  19. Sota Im sure some crafty individuals will. lol Just a matter of time.
  20. Its great to see so much feed back, At first read it scared the hell out of me. I'm pretty guarded after hearing what fracking did to surrounding communities. Lou: The Benzine release is simply a fear tactic? Cause once again I'm sure they say its safe because they don't live nowhere in the area. I realize I mentally attached this compressor station to be as bad as fracking. Thats my bad. The last thing i want to do is stop someone from earning a living. I haul out of Rock Quarry's every night. One in particualr is litteraly a stones through from condo assoc. When we work out of there were going in and out from 8pm to 7am. It must be hell for the residents. I try to be as quite as possible. No exhaust brake, Wont slam gate. Etc. But you can only be so quite with dump truck. And I know if it were up to the residents I'd be out of job. My main concern is if its safe to surrounding communities. I realize I need to research more about the project.
  21. My wife forwarded me the below email, regarding a compressor station in Somerset County. Is anyone familiar with the process, involvement as an: intervenor There is a info sheet attached on process. but not permitted to upload this kind of doc. would like to hear from members. Thanks You are receiving this message because you live in a township that will bedramatically impacted by Compressor Station 206 if it is allowed to be built. his gas powered station would compress methane gas from Pennsylvania through its 32,000 horsepower engine, release harmful chemicals like Benzine into the air around Somerset County, and transport this gas straight to New York City, while our communities take the health and safety risks. Even worse, Williams, the company that will build this compressor station in our backyards, has a rocky safety record: http://nyfriendsofcleanairandwater.blogspot.com/2014/04/williams-companies-safety-and.html We have until April 24th to file as an intervenor with FERC, meaning you'd be able to voice your opposition to this unsafe project. Anyone in New Jersey can go through this process. I have included a guide to signing Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. 22. This works great, found it on youtube. Take a container with a lid. Example old take out contaiers, tupperware etc... Place a sponge in the container, pour white vinegar 3/4 up the sponge allowing the sponge to fully absorb. drill holes in the lid to allow container to breath. Place inside the car and forget about it. The first day you will notice slight scent from vinegar. But quickly goes away. Won't take long for the vinegar to neutralize the smells. I use it all the time, the misses and I both smoke. I had an incident where a whole crock pot of deer stew fell over in my car. Thought I did a good job cleaning it up until the warmer weather hit. HOOOuuuFFFAAA This was the only thing that worked.
  23. Have to say I'm very happy with purchase. The night sights are bad ass, I love the way they glow increases as light decreases. Had a great time at the range, the adjustment to larger grip may have helped with sensitive trigger finger. Although i didn't shoot as many rounds. Ricky, Will def be adding them all over time. All for one, and one for all. lol
  24. Sent emails out Monday, only received auto responses. 45 voted yes, disappointing. There's time left to sign petition, Check out Mrs Peels Post. http://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/85255-whitehousegov-second-amendment-petitions/
