  1. I work in Rockaway, live in Mt. Olive. Around 3pm a tension line between the power grid on 80 east and the power lines cutting threw the wood on 80 west right before the truck pulloff exploded/broke. Line came down over both sides of 80 and hit some cars and started a fire in the brush on west side. Shut down 80 for 30-45 minutes or a bit more. 5pm I left work and took 80 west home to see what the damage was. 10 minute drive took me about 30 minutes but everything was cleaned up at the scene. I could see the burnt grass on the side of the road. After that it pretty much opened up and everything was fine. Most people have been restored from what I understand. On a side note the Sussex County Fairgrounds also lost power. They had to call in rescue to get people off rides that were stuck. Power was restored a few hours ago.
  2. I like! Maybe I'll go buy white and blue nail polish tomorrow. I have red somewhere already. Just gotta tape the SHIELD when painting the M&P and vice versa. Can't be that bad.
  3. Nail polish, aka Tactical Paint as @DeerSlayer would call it. Then just lightly wipe with non acetone nail polish remover and a cotton swab. Works great and lasts a very long time. It's very forgiving, just slop it on. Let it dry. Wipe off the excess. Repeat if necessary.
  4. If you're not too far from Eastern PA...this is an option. Cheapest by far. http://www.ebsportsmansa.org/
  5. It used to be 90 days, with an extension to 180 days with your Chief of Police approval. With today's system using FARS it is autoextended to 180 days for handgun permits. Long guns are a different. They do not need a permit to purchase besides your Firearms ID/FID. Once you have your FID you can purchase as many long guns as you wish pending a NICS check.
  6. Last few times I've done this, I've actually had flights for Harrisburg PA. What an amazing experience. Yes the ride is longer, but it's a nice country drive. No congestion parking. Airport isn't packed. I loved it. I hate going into EWR, if I do have to, I go to short term parking if I have to pick someone up.
  7. I got this for my Ruger Wrangler, so it should also fit the Single Six well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086Q1Z1TM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 EDIT: Never mind. I saw you have the 6.5" barrel.
  8. I had a 2017 Ram 1500 V6 Express, and now a 2020 Ram 1500 V6 Bighorn "SPORT". I have/had no issues with either but they are/were also new trucks. I will say the '20 is above and beyond nicer than the '17.
  9. You all missed out if you didn't order when I did. After national news headlines they apparently pulled it or discontinued it. It was supposed to be a 10-12 week preorder, which should have put delivery early/mid January. I got the call today it was delivered to my FFL. I didn't even get an email letting me know it shipped so that was a nice surprise. I'll go down tomorrow and fill out the 4473 and take a pic of it.
  10. HE I picked up a Wrangler earlier this year, still haven't shot it unfortunately, but I picked up this holster for it. Some great reviews led me to it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086Q1Z1TM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Not my image, but this is the version I purchased.
  11. I got my order locked in. Now to figure out what build I wanna do with it. I'm contemplating a build to match Rittenhouse's rifle, but if they come out with a Rittenhouse lower than I'll have to buy that and do it with that.
  12. So I ask this, what's the cheapest way to get G-19 10rd mags? I just purchased a serialized G-19 lower to build and am in the process of sourcing parts.
  13. Okay I think I got it. Says I have 4050251 or $25 of SAFEMOON. I may or may not add more. It was a process but I figured it out.
  14. I have coinbase and bitcoin, how do you transfer that to bitsmart?
  15. Hackettstown Firearms is my go to. $46 includes transfer, NICS, and tax. No appointments needed.
  16. Great to hear. I figured I'd use the permit because, A) it's a cheap gun, B) It shoots cheapest ammo you can get right now, and ammo I have plenty of, and C) a great platform I can use to teach my son to shoot handguns.
  17. I was lucky enough to snag this a couple days ago, $185, free shipping, no tax. Shipped last night, will be at my LGS Monday. Sick deal especially in today's market. https://www.tinstarshootingrange.com/products/handguns-ruger-2004-736676020041-707
  18. With the new system I'm not too sure. The 4 people I walked through getting their FID scheduled and completed fingerprints first but the background check has been taking less than 12hrs now, so maybe they changed it? I just checked and I only paid the $21 for the check. I wonder if I fell into a timeframe where they were changing it from paying the PD to the State forwarding the money to the PD? I'll find out Thursday when I go into the LGS to do the paperwork for the gun I bought.
  19. Also, a coworker of mine was approved the same day and she hasn't been contacted to pay NJSP for hers either. I'll check with her again today to see if she heard anything.
  20. That's really strange. I still haven't been contacted to go pay the $6. I plan on going to the LGS on Wednesday so I guess I'll see if they're actually active.
  21. A few days ago I received the email stating my electronic permits were available but my local PD hasn't contacted me to pay the $6 for my 3 permits. Has this part been eliminated from the process?
  22. I said I assume, and I never stated driving record. I said interaction with officers and gave scenario's. Either way what they can and what they do we know are two different things. I do know for a fact they do their own internal check because my local PD told me they do. I'm just guessing as to what that consists of.
