  1. So if the law says nj dealers cannot sell temporary blocked magazines, then if I go to pennsy and buy 30 round mags, drill a hole put in a pop rivet so you can only load 15 or less Iam good to go?
  2. Heritage guild in Rahway. Ask for joe. Top notch guy.
  3. It would be a lot easier and legal to just get a completed one. And build it from there.
  4. He is right. We allowed this to happen to us. I hate being a criminal just because I own a gun. And it's only going to get worse. And the politicians count on us being unorganized. They exploit that and continue to push their own agendas because so few of us even go out to vote.
  5. I was always told one of the reasons why the m1 carbines are banned is because of the large amount that where stolen in Plainfield nj from the manufacturer during riots in the late 60s. Idk I wasn't born yet. But it does sound like new jerseys way of handling a problem. And much like a lot of other people, I was always told Ak types are legal as long as they have the muzzle brake welded, and the bayonet mount removed. At the same time I don't flash mine around. But it sounds like we need a lawyer to sort all this out.

    Just getting a feel

Just curious. Been looking and the prices are all over the place, thanks
  7. Just wondering how much a pre ban, type 56 norinco, that's never been fired might be worth? Has the bayonet and is nj compliant.
  8. I would pay the costs to be able to protect my family. But wouldn't the need to also pass a stand your ground and a castle doctrine? Otherwise even if we could carry we still could not defend ourselves.
  9. Nj gun laws are feel good at best. Anything that says Ak or AR is bad. Any colt parts in an ar type rifle is bad. I've been told by a number of people from gun dealers to cops, if it says Ak or ar it's illegal, but if it says anything different the same rifle is now ok, as long as it has been properly neutered. Just another example of gun laws being made and passed by people who know nothing about guns.
  10. http://www.anjrpc.org/?page=A_Strikeforce The link is for giving info to ANJRPC permit strike force. They will be compiling info and contacting trouble police departments that add more requirements or take excessive time to process. Please pass it around. The more of us that speak up the more we can fight.
  11. I emailed him. http://www.state.nj.us/governor/contact/
  12. The first time I got a purchase permit it took 6 months and was told I had to be re finger printed as a state police requirement. About a year later I went for my second permit and that's when I contacted the governer. I am sick and tired of being forced to follow every little letter of the law when nobody else has too. I got my permit very shortly after contacting the governors office. Coincidence? Maybe idk.
  13. I probably won't be getting any for a while. I complained about wait times to the govenor. Got a letter from him saying my complaint was being passed on to the state attorneys office. Then I got a phone call from a trooper who wasn't really happy with me. Then he forwarded the complaint to the middlesx county prosecutors office. So Iam sure when it hits my police department. That will be the end of my permits. Lol I will probably start getting pulled over a lot too!
  14. Wouldn't even bother. Nj gun laws are so retarded it hurts to even read them. We have our own set of goofy rules that are a hodgepodge of Clinton ban laws and feel good anti gun laws. We are lucky to have what we have.
