This is the perfect time to push for national CCW. Always bragging about great deal making and negotiating blah blah blah....Anything has a chance of passing if both sides give something. Who only gives but receives nothing in a negotiation especially when the argument of more armed good guys / gals would help with the deterring or stopping bad guys / gals with guns makes complete sense and would help in working to solve the problem. Everyone said Obama was coming for our guns ?? Republicans control all 3 branches and I am more worried now of our 2A rights then the entire 8 years of the past administration.

I agree on the point of immaturity of an 18 year old everything should be raised not just firearms if that is the true logic. Think about Florida where you get your license at 16 ?? Which 16 is super immature and driving a 4k vehicle. You can join the military at 18 and handle " actual " assault weapons not semi auto's. Oh and voting as well, if you cannot be trusted to perform other adult like activities you surely should not be able or trusted to cast a mature vote if you cannot even buy a beer.

What would you propose if the AR 15 was banned but the next nut case used a " FDE not black " FN Scar or a "wood stock not black " Ruger mini 14 or a etc etc.....so on and so forth....Let me guess you would support a ban on them too which could lead to a ban on all semi autos to take away a right from good law abiding citizens who exercise that right for home defense, competitions, hunting etc....but you are a 2A supporter, really ? I personally am not a fan of .22 conversions. A SR22 or Ruger mark series does the trick to plink or teach a new shooter.
