  5. Guess now the Fed. Gov't can legally arm all those young men crossing the boarder......omo.
  6. In a ruling that had both proponents and opponents of the Second Amendment do a curious double take, a federal judge has ruled that an illegal immigrant was wrongly banned from possessing firearms. U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman ruled on March 8 that the defendant, Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, who is residing in the United States illegally, had his Second Amendment right’s violated when prosecutors originally charged him with 18 U.S.C § 922, which bars illegal immigrants from carrying guns or ammunition. “The noncitizen possession statute, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5), violates the Second Amendment as applied to Carbajal-Flores,” Judge Coleman wrote in her ruling. “Thus, the court grants Carbajal-Flores’ motion to dismiss.” The defense team for Mr. Carbajal-Flores had argued in their recent motion that the government could not show the law referenced was “part of the historical tradition that delimits the outer bounds of the right to keep and bear arms.” In 2022, the Supreme Court ruled that the government must show that each regulation “is consistent with this nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” The precise wording of the high court’s decision was enough for the defense to argue successfully in favor of dismissal. “Lifetime disarmament of an individual based on alienage or nationality alone does not have roots in the history and tradition of the United States,” Mr. Carbajal-Flores’ lawyers said. “The government argues that Carbajal-Flores is a noncitizen who is unlawfully present in this country. The court notes, however, that Carbajal-Flores has never been convicted of a felony, a violent crime, or a crime involving the use of a weapon. Even in the present case, Carbajal-Flores contends that he received and used the handgun solely for self-protection and protection of property during a time of documented civil unrest in the Spring of 2020,” Judge Coleman wrote. The ruling has promoted a large range of reactions across the legal and Second Amendment community. Writing on The Reload, attorney Matthew Larosiere agreed with the decision saying that even those in the country illegally are part of “the people” the Framer’s mention in the Second Amendment. “To find that illegal immigrants are outside of ‘the people’ protected by the Second Amendment, you must believe that the Framers were talking about a different ‘people’ in the First, Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth Amendments,” he wrote. What Say You.....
  7. I was fight'in the fight when you probably were in diapers.....attended the meetings back in 80's and '90 when the NRA called it on NJ...I was there....the monies thrown at these Orgs. over the years is rediculous IMO....with little to no results or merit....other than their self promotion, advertising their books and or ranges.....I repeat, if it weren't for Thomas we would be back to square one.
  8. Direct and to the point.................Oh Yeah.
  9. Well he obviously doesn't have one of these.......would have been a Sh _ t Fest if it were my home...28" at the withers and a slim, trim 115#. German Bred................not American Bred......big difference.
  10. Preliminary hearing.....everything was found to be reasonable and justified, said he wasn't charged.
  11. wasn't charged but went down every rabbit trail even ammo brand / adv. name, etc.....
  12. Here's a comment by a gentlemen from another thread who actually had to defend himself with his CCW.....I'm well aware of the few types of ammo that the State says is approved for use in NJ......but what happens in a court room when the DA get the case.....here is his quote speaking of Hornady Critical Duty vs Critical Defense...how much does the marketing by the Ammo Manufactures have to do with what happens.....IMO, a Jersey DA would have a field day with ie, Underwood "Extreme penetrator" or something similar........what say you. Quote: "The only issue was after when I got raked over the coals for using "duty" instead of "defense" in a civilian capacity. My lawyer dealt with it, but the question was raised, because the overwhelming majority of people evaluating every single thing you said or chose have zero understanding about ANY of this stuff".
  13. My prediction: 1. This list gets broken into and exfiltrated, and sold to criminals 2. Criminals use this info to target each and every location. 3. NJ Government then blames the lawful gun owner for the awful increase in violence and demands more laws against the lawful gun owner. 4. GOTO 2
  14. Keep sending your monies to the NJ lawyers / Organizations who have been at best over the years, unsuccessful ....these organization are like money sponges that keep filing meaningless papers with the legal system...as I said, if it weren't for Thomas we here would be back to point Zero and after all these years and dollars / donations with little results.....it's time to address the real issue of 2A and not these concessions and deals that these organizations / lawyers keep making......meaningless.....omo.
  15. He said FEES.............not fee hikes......we're being charged to exercise a US Constitutional Amendment......man, this is just wrong...OMO.
