Hi all I have an Enfield Jungle Carbine and unfortunately no matter how much I tighten the bolt that holds the stock. The stock still comes loose even though the bolt is tight I don't want to take it to the range and have it come loose while I'm trying to use it Any suggestions? thanks

Thats actually not a bad idea

Why am I not surprised in the People's Republic of NJ

I know in the good ole' People's Republic of NJ that HK MP5's are illegal. Does anyone know of any variants that are legal in NJ? I've heard about the GSG5 thanks
-
Cool, I'll hit you up when I find a nice wood stock
-
Yea I don't care for the forward scope mount either, I'll probably remove it. And swap the stock with a nice wood one. Just have to find the right top cover for it
-
Yep, maybe 10 but I am planning on getting out of the People's Republic of NJ

Have a question for anyone that has knowledge of the M1A. I have an M1A Socom 16 and was just curious if the M1A Socom 16 CQB stock can be used on the M1A Socom 16? Good point all, my bad

I should know better than attempt to purchase anything on Gunbroker. First I had attempted to purchase a Mini-14, the price seemed decent and then I changed my mind and canceled the sale, and the vendor wanted to charge me a re-listing fee for canceling the order. Then I had another one tell me that another rifle I was interested in - the DSA SA58 was not legal in NJ. Of course the wonderful ambiguous retarded gun laws here in the People's Republic of NJ doesn't help When I bought my Springfield I was told not to bother dealing with anything on Gunbroker, I can see the point now

Just more stupidity from those idiots that occupy the statehouse. There are more important things to worry about but they would rather come up with more stupid laws that will do nothing but just tax the people even more. These "professional politicians" need to go. Just like the Congress, they need term limits The shame of it all

Thanks, I already have an M1A Socom 16 and I am planning on getting a "full size" one at some point. i was just perusing the FAL and always thought they were nice thanks again
-
I know the FN FAL is not legal in NJ at least by name. Other than the DSA SA58, are there any others FAL variants that are legal in NJ?

In my search for a .22 rifle I came across these these Kingston Armory M1 and M14 .22's. They appear to be basically Ruger 10/22 action but have a great look, a little steep for a .22LR Has anyone seen them up close? http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/01/20/kingston-armory-m1-garand-m14-1022-rifles/

I'm looking to get a hunting rifle primarily for marksmanship. And I am curious as to what the seasoned gun owners prefer: The Winchester Model 70 or the Remington Model 700?
-
Very nice, most of the original ones I found were pricey. And there are a lot of 1897s that were converted to trench guns as well. I did find an1897 with a 30 inch barrel that was a bit beat up so I am going to restore and convert to a trench gun
-
I've just noticed a lot of the ones on gunbroker are regular 1897s that have been cut down or modified into the Trench Gun configuration. Just want to make sure this is safe or not
-
I'm looking to obtain a Winchester 1897 trench gun. And I know they are scarce and pricey. But I've noticed a lot of them for sale are either civilian 1897s or riot guns that have been converted Would anyone purchase a converted one? Are the converted ones safe? I know IAC (Norinco) makes clones but that is not something I'm looking to get thoughts?

I need to move out of Jersey (things we can't own)
RobCo replied to Polak's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Yea, it sucks that here in the People's Republic of NJ we are "not allowed" to have certain firearms just based on name only. I'd love to have an M1 Carbine...but that is a no-no here in NJ. (I'm sure the Plainfield riots have something to do with that since those people stole all those M1 Carbines from the Plainfield Machine Co.) -
