Magazine Ban Upheld
Foxhunter replied to reloaderguy's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
The best place to move is Arizona -
Not biting guys no use, not answering any of your questions “why would you want it? WHERE did you plan on accomplishing your practice with your illegal gun? If you attempt to "practice" bumpfiring a rifle at a range.”
-
Thanks for your answer Mr B
-
OK as usual nothing simple in NJ. I just wonder if bump firing it self would be illegal or just the bump fire stock
-
Did they made bump fire stocks illegal in NJ yet or is still going on?? Thanks

When you get pulled over ?
Foxhunter replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
A fellow bought a new Corvette and was out on an interstate for a nice evening drive. The top was down, the breeze was blowing through what was left of his hair and he decided to open her up. As the needle jumped up to 80 mph he suddenly saw a flashing red and blue light behind him. "There ain't no way they can catch a Corvette," he thought to himself and opened her up further. The needle hit 90, 100, 130 and finally 150 with the light still behind him. "What the hell am I doing?" he thought and pulled over. The cop came up to him, took his license without a word and examined it and the car. "I've had a tough shift and this is my last pull over. I don't feel like more paperwork so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven't heard before you can go!" "Last week my wife ran off with a cop," the man said, "and I was afraid you were trying to give her back!" "Off you go," said the officer. -
I was told it’s against the law to lie to a police officer but a police officer can lie to you. So if I get pulled over and he ask me if I have guns in my car I have to tell him ? Would that gives him the right to search my car ?

Carry rifles in your car?
Foxhunter replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I'm not sure about Hollow point rounds in your car, I was told it's illegal only in the commission of a crime We all use it at the range and you can buy it in NJ -
Carry rifles in your car?
Foxhunter replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Thanks guys, always great info on this forum -
I spend a lot of time on the range like 4-5 days a week not always shooting just doing some work I would like to leave my rifles in my car trunk for the the week. According to Evan Nappen's it is Ok to go to the post office, bank, food shopping and just to get every day chores done with rifles in your trunk long as you have a yellow ID. Card. What do you guys say?????

Seeking clarification on transportation
Foxhunter replied to Emortal's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I was thought not to investigate or look for a intruder in your house because you are at danger of being killed he is hiding ready to shoot, call police, let the intruder come to you and than kill him. If it safe I would even get out of my house let police search the house -
I have many long guns some goes back long time some are newer, do I need to keep any paper work with these guns or the Yellow card will do ? Just in case I got stopped on the way to the range For some of them I have no paper work at all. Thanks for any info you can give me First time post Thanks
