The left handed mag release drops down to the edge of the trigger guard so it's easily accessible, and the bolt catch above the right side mag release is manipulated as you load the next mag you tap it with your thumb dropping the carrier into battery. That is how I run it, if a right handed shooter is using it he doesn't need to slap the bolt release with the off hand, his finger can hit the right sided release easily.

Yep left handed. In my opinion it's the best lower on the market next to the AXTS lower but santan is almost half the price. The flared mag well is great, controls are all easily accessible(no finger stretching to get to the Troy ambi mag release) and it has integrated QD sling mounts on both sides

I'm not a fan of the flip to side magnifiers, that being said I think for my current build Im going with the 1-4. Any good recommendations for around $700? Right now Im thinking about the viper pst but Im open to options. I'll save the aimpoint for my 14.5in build haha

The lever Infront of the trigger is ambi mag release and the lever just under the ejection port is bolt release

What are your thoughts guys? I'm stuck between a vortex 1-4 or aimpoint T1 but I want this thread to be more broad of a discussion then just that so what are your opinions on red dot vs 1-4

I agree I don't believe it quiets the gun at all, but added grip and utility is pretty nice, could be used as a tourniquet as well as just rope if needed. Honestly I liked the look and not many people have them so i went for it haha

biggest advantage is grip when wet, and if needed in a survival situation but it's also advertised to quiet the gun(guessing it has to do with rail vibrations?)
