  1. Isn’t that like negative fed rates?
  2. All of his critics would be in the fetal position by now.
  3. $2.27 in the Freehold area. Probably cheap in South Carolina. Seems they had best prices on drives to Florida. DC was the worst.
  4. I had to go look up the specs. Its been a while since I’ve seen one of these. 8 bit 6507 CPU running at 1.19 MHz and 128 bytes..... yes.....bytes ....of RAM. So perfect for the State of NJ.
  5. I know Andrew Wilkow likes those jeans. Radio host.... I was actually planning to try a pair but wasn’t sure which cut. Wanted whatever is close to “regular” fit. If I get around to ordering a pair I’ll let you know what I think.
  6. System 34 maybe. They were old when the place I worked in the late 80’s used one for accounting functions. We may have used COBOL but I thought it ran some other arcane language. Also...there must be a Battlestar Galactica joke in here somewhere...
  7. If you plan to occupy the house or rent it, consider a filter on the washing machine drain/ejection line. Over time the fabric bits may shorten the life of the field. Also, if there’s a well with a brine backwash system, consider a separate place to eject that salt water. It may actually be required these days. But dumping that water into your field is supposedly bad. If you have an aerobic treatment system like a Septic Genie, which uses live bacteria to break down solids, the brine is not good for that system. By the way, one purpose of a bacteria system like Septic Genie is to break down or prevent build of a sort of slime in your field slowing down its ability to drain. When that field backs up...its bad news, $15k plus to remediate it.
  8. There was always one and only one way this was gonna end.
  9. About 3000 people die every day in the US, likely while is a hospital, from the various co-morbidities associated with high risk COVID19 sufferers. So one question that should be asked is what are these numbers now. Is it still averaging at 3000 while we count covid deaths, or has it dropped inexplicably while covid deaths are counted? Are covid deaths....died with covid... or actual excess deaths as typically counted in flu stats?
  10. If we could see it we could shoot it. Or beat it with a pipe.
  11. Devin Nunes just said that small businesses can get loans for 2-1/2 times their payroll that will or can be turned into a grant. So it sounds official.
  12. Well.... since Howell Gun Works is open again I think I’ll go buy or order something by the weekend.
  13. That was Kevin McCarthy. And thats exactly what he said. Spend it on employees and its a grant. There wasn’t a ton of detail.. but of course now I can’t rewind during a damn commercial.
  14. Though 1LtCAP and I have never met, this Rock Auto ad has me convinced he was the inspiration for the Rock Auto front man.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwFqGR0JaOU&feature=share
  15. Peyton Place arrives at NJGF. And I don’t seem to have a lot of free time. Our entire company is working from home. My group supports them so we are reasonably busy during the day. But where there are gaps, there isn’t much time to do very much. Before and after work, its cleaning and sanitizing the house. Then making dinner. Etc. Hopefully will get a day off in a few weeks.
  16. Yup. Silence....will be the response from Gov. Murphy. He has no reason in his mind, to do anything different.
  17. Maybe they ought to excavate the road a foot?
  18. It seems like there are two red lights lit as the trucks approach the overpass. I assume then since the cross streets have stop signs, that the lights are Over Height warnings.... WTF are these drivers looking at?
  19. It would be super easy for him to simply state that until further notice, micro breweries, bars and liquor stores and deliver packaged goods or beverages in containers suitsble for transport. Where’s the harm?
