Anyone else have issues with the M&P 15-22? First day out and it was really frustrating...shot a full mag first with no issues. Then the next 5 were jamming spuratically...took apart, oiled up, still the same...was shooting Federal champion & Winchester X..both I've thought I read that this gun likes... Looking into the common ejector pin issue and possibly replacing it with the volquartsen...but shouldn't have to fix or send back a brand new gun ! Pix4clix

I have heard now from 2 separate people that live in this area that a new range is being constructed somewhere on rt.9 in the Marmora/Seaville area. This would be big news as most people in the area travel an hour up the parkway to Shooters... One guy is a local business owner and the other guy is an ex county swat guy so they are reputable sources but they didn't know anything else just that it was hear say... Anyone else have any info on this or heard something similar ?

Had my 25 mag taken down to 15, still looks "cool" but it's legal..

I had the same question as the OP, after reading this thread I now want also.. I have family in FL an do the drive...so thinking it might make sense to get the FL and be able to arm up in VA

Was looking for a .40 handgun and decided on the Sig p250, called my guy Jim @ Whittaker Arms and the next day I have a brand new SIG for $100+ under retail with hard case, lock, 3 mags, & nights sights....how could it get better than that !? It does... Also picked up a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22, brand new in box with warranty...for about the same savings..no waiting, no shipping, no BS..right there in hand out the door saving $100's. It's not a big shop but he had about a half dozen or more AR15 all for under $800 and most importantly to me his customer service is not to be beat.. *disclaimer* Not sure if he lurks or is a member on here and I have No affiliation with the shop at all, just hate seeing people get ripped off or have to deal with jerks. I live a mile from R&R in SP and I drove by at least one other shop... (that starts with a B, who had neither gun in stock and said they were both back ordered). No website so I Don't want to blast his info all over so if you cant find it by a simple google search PM me..

I have also recently been to Huges Welcome. I've been Hagues recently also...prices on guns were $100-200 more than anywhere else. Ammo prices also, and u have to shoot what you buy there....long story short I was not impressed with customer service at all, not bad just not extraordinary...but it cost me like $130 to shoot some 12G for an hour....looking into joining somewhere soon also.. Bangers or SJ As far as purchases.. R&R in Somers Point is a mile away from me...I drive by there (sign says closed about 24/7/365 anyway) about 40 min and have the best experience EVERY time, and everyone I have sent does as well... On a weekend, wait..possible in season..store was empty a week before Christmas. I'm sure you will have to check your guns & colors at the door just like every other place in AC. Didn't see lockers but there would be room for a couple.. Not many auto break ins around tht area of the city..I highly doubt any 'city thugs' your thinking of will be looking to walk in front of how ever many cameras in the most populated area of the city and start looking into the back windows of the lifted F250 with the 'don't tread on me' sticker..jus sayin..

He must have thought Santa came early. He either didn't know or just not real smart...Smart enough to keep them but stupid enough to still have them.

Range is Still not open...they made errors in construction with the some things in the ceiling & hvac and have still not passed the necessary inspections needed to open it ..could still be another couple months 4 lanes, returns, nothing special... I wouldn't go out of my way to go shoot there but good time killer if the woman wants to shop, or nice to be able to buy something and shoot it right away.

Looks like there's some forum guys taking part in construction, awesome! Thanks for pics. And yes I heard the range is not membership it's basically pay to play, handgun only. Yes AC is the hood but any business is good and brings jobs for a year in construction and years in retail. As bad as ac has become those stores still do good..I know for sure they did employ some knowledgable locals as well.. You can thank the CRDA...don't quote me but I believe they contributed something like 80% of the funding toward this project.

I doubt they sold out. Looks the same in there as last few times I've been in. I guess they have no employees like you said but I can't imagine only having 1 he/she would have to work every hour dicks is open, and it would be odd for 2 or 3 employees to quit at the same time unless for a good reason so either they made a big enough mistake and everyone got fired or suspended or its internally something bigger..or simply license ran out..either way what a disappointment

Took a stroll into dicks today and there's not even a speck of dust on the shelves... yellow signs were the guns & ammo would normally be saying something along the lines of...'due to unforeseen circumstances we have no guns/ammo available at this time' I ask a guy working there what's going on and he starts to say ...'due to unforeseen circumstances...' I just walked away and said thanks anyways... Did I miss something ? Dicks no longer carrying ammo ???? Anyone else been to a Dicks in NJ this morning ??

Hey yall. What's up guys..Originally from Atco, now have relocated full time down the shore. New here but been highly active on forums (mostly European auto & diesel truck) and ebay seller for 10yrs, also have an etsy store..I like to collect cool old stuff & tattoos. Very avid online & local seller, buyer, barter'er, dicker'er..technically a full time self employed mason. Just started a family so it was time to get the FID card and start 'prepping'... Plan on getting the handgun paperwork next as I didn't realize I could do both at once. Too many words not enough pics... Just got my first piece of steel this week...
