  1. Yeah he just wants them gone and I'm up there once or twice a yr to see him so I was just going to take them here. So if he sells them up there he has to just make sure they have a FIDC and a picture ID. Yes here in NC if you have a CHP no wait you just walk in and buy a handgun and walk out. Which us why I have to many now. LOL
  2. HIPPA laws in NJ are a Joke (I know it's federal). Off topic some but any nurse or employee in any hospital can access your records. Don't count on this. I know first hand!
  3. Good day I am not a NJ resident for about 15 yrs now thank goodness. Anyway I have a friend who can no longer shoot and has a few shotguns he is looking to unload legally. First off can he just ship them to me in NC or can I just pick them up? Next if sells them F-F in NJ does the buyer need a permit? Thank you from NC.
  4. I was up a yr ago August for a funeral and did rent a car for the drive. Pretty sad that this is what has to be done just because you believe in the second amendment in a Free America isn't it? It's only in the socialist parts of the country this kind of thing happens, My license plate is my favorite weapon, I have pro gun stickers on my SUV and have zero problem here. I have never been questioned here in all my yrs, even when someone from Up North called 911 on me and a few hunters because we had guns on our side at a local general store! The LEO ripped the callers for wasting his time. I just couldn't imagine living in such fear of an inanimate object that one would call the law just because they see one. Just think of that for a minute!?!?
  5. Unfortunately I was from NJ and remember hearing horror stories of what some of the Gestapo do to families. I remember them making a family kneel half naked on their lawn because of a gun violation someplace along the Jersey Shore. It was cold, I was driving for 10 hours and knowing the way they act wouldn't put past them doing something like this to me and my kids.
  6. The first thing I did was ask did I do something wrong. I was met with silence, he asked to inspect my car I initially said NO, he then said he had the right to check my daughters car seat. He did mention my personalized L.P. as well as my LifeTime NRA sticker. Which is why she was removed and he told her to sit on the ground. From there he said he would detain me until he got a warrant and we would be there the entire day, after driving 10 hours I just said go ahead. I have been back to NJ maybe 8 times in the 13 nearly 14 yrs since I have left and at least 5 times have seen 6 or so St Troopers sitting on the side of the road just as you get into NJ. by way of the turnpike. I at this point no longer see myself ever stepping on NJ soil again.
  7. I rarely visit NJ anymore due to the NJ Gestapo. When you enter NJ from PA on the Turnpike it's very common to see half dozen Secret Service Police (NJ ST. Police) pulling cars over from Southern States. Especially those with NRA Stickers or Pro Gun Stickers. Then ya get your vehicle stripped for ZERO REASON! Has one SS Agent make my daughter who was 5 yrs old at the time sit on the ground in 25* temps so he could search my SUV!!! Never said a word after he ripped my SUV apart just got in his car and left. This is why people dislike LEO!!!! Ya love NJ!!! LOL!!!
  8. Yup!!! Ran out of NJ back in "04" and never looked back! I read some of these post and my head spins that I actually lived in a complete Socialist State where the citizens have Zero Rights.
  9. Have areal good friend who used to work in Manhattan and commute from Ocean County EVERYDAY and sometime on Saturday! He did it for more than 20 yrs until he had a stroke. We used to tell him he was NUTS, used to drive to Aberdeen, then train, then subway. He had to leave at 5 in the morning and walking in at about 9 in the evening. Yeah he made about a hundred grand a yr. or a little more. But it cost in 1/4 or more of that to travel. Could of worked two pizza joints for $10.00 an hour locally and made more. But he was a NY worker. Oh and his wife also had to pay taxes in NJ and NY too. What a waste.
  10. Not just in NJ the court system is broken and wastes MILLIONS in TAX money. I've sat in court in more than one state and have seen a Judges sit on the bench for less than 30 minutes in a 5 hour period. Folks add it up, all the attorneys sitting out there charging clients by the hour, all the sheriffs deputies playing on their cell phones, all the court staff. This is just the tip of the wasteful system. Oh and if you think when they're in the back taking care of business about cases you're wrong, I've been back there and have watched 2-3 attorneys who are charging clients while they talk of the sweet 16, football, vacations or golf etc. I was just recently banished from a court room here in the county I live in for suggesting the pregnant Judge take a leave after she wasn't even able to get thru the AM roll call before lunch because she had hemorrhoids. Yeah 3.5 hrs to just not call the cases.
  11. It never turned into a FRO, she called it in which is why it was tossed. My attorney had to explain to the court you can not issue a RO even in NJ over the phone. They gave her THREE chances to show and my attorney and I had to show every time. Which was the high cost.
  12. I hope this works out for ya. Never believe a Judge, they're lawyers and especially ones from NJ. You will need an attorney $though$. Are you still in contact with the X? Maybe a good showing by her will help. My ex was in Las Vegas and phoned hers in to a city in Union County and they approved her RO. I hadn't heard or talked to her in months before this, but her and the new bo were drunk and showing their beer muscles from thousands of miles away. NJ is just anti-anything normal.
  13. When I lived in NJ I lived this. You need an Attorney. My EX had a RO taken out on me over the phone from 2000 miles away in Union County, I lived 70 miles south and hadn't been in Union County in 10 yrs.. I had turned over all my firearms Legally to others months earlier knowing it was only a matter of time, didn't matter I was still jailed until I remembered the name of every person I sold my guns to. Then the local PD went to verify with each person. I was lucky my attorney had the entire thing tossed, after thousands of dollars in damage by the local PD/Swat trashed my house looking for my firearms while I was tossed in the street with some big fat F*ck kneeling on my back, $3,500.00 for attorney, $500.00 in bail that took months to get back and 2 days in Jail. I left the state shortly after that.
