I just asked a friend from ocean county that got his a few weeks ago. His permit is completely unrestricted and he did not get any letter with restrictions from the court. It may be that this is something that was added later, I’ll ask some others. I dropped off my application at Jackson PD last week and they said they had only sent 8-10 applications to the courts so far. I don’t know if the clerk knew what she was talking about though.

I must have done something different than many, I got a money order from my bank. I have seen that people keep track of when the MO was cashed so I asked how I can check that. I was told that I cannot see that information, it is only possible with a cashiers check.

It is. It looks great, and the ratcheting mechanism feels quite sturdy. The belt itself is not nearly as stiff as I imagined a gun belt to be, honestly it seems pretty similar to some standard belts I have had in the past. Not sure if that’s a problem or just an observation. It will definitely be comfortable, time will tell if it will sag. It does seem fairly stiff top to bottom.

These are my first holsters, so I don't know much, but the fit of the Dale Fricke holster seems exceptional. Now I need to figure out how to make these fit and look half reasonable. I'm slight and short and want to carry tucked in, my pants bulge forward 2'' in the front. The holster design makes it that the bulge is wider than the holster itself, but it still looks weird. Not hey, I'm carrying a gun, just weird.

I went to the IdentoGo in a AAA location in Philadelphia (9475 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia) I had an appointment, but they took walk ins. They let me change my contributor numbers, and I also took my photos there. I think it was about $10. Very pleasant, in and out in a few minutes.

I guess that’s why they make you qualify with both hands!

A friend of mine just got his, Ocean county. He applied very early on. He said he knows of two others from ocean county that got them, but they are security officers.

Can fingerprinting at Identigo be done before the qualifying and submitting the paperwork?

Shore Shot in Lakewood does not require drawing from a holster, and I heard one of the trainers discussing with an older gentleman who had a hard time kneeling that they will modify the requirements for him. I’m sure that most instructors at any range will be more than happy to help anyone with any type of disability.
