  1. Thanks all My scope is attached very tightly so it must have been my "skill" (or complete lack thereof).
  2. There are such things as stupid questions and I have one. Had a heck of a time with my rifle today trying to get it sighted in and wanted to see if I'm missing the most basic understanding of elevation and windage adjustments on my scope. If I aim at the center of a target, fire and find that my point of impact is HIGHER than intended, do I want to turn my elevation in the UP direction or DOWN? I assumed it was DOWN in this case but based on my piss poor experience today I'm second guessing myself.
  3. Eric, I'd be happy to bring you as a guest. PM me and let me know when you're generally available
  4. Very cool thanks. Follow up question. I've read here that there are spotting scopes available at the club for use by members. Is that true? If so where can I find them?
  5. Is that on the members only section of the site?
  6. Eric (or other CJRPC members) - how do you go about getting a loaner spotter at CJRPC? I'm a new member and don't recall hearing this during the new member session
  7. I'm a brand new CJRPC member and curious to know what folks do for targets in the pits and on the rifle ranges. The intro tour was pretty high level and didn't cover a lot of specifics in this respect. Although I haven't walked out onto the rifle ranges yet it appears there are metal bases in the ground for some type of stand or boards/furring strips. Anyone here use those, or do you bring your own base/target stands? Same thing for the pits. I shot some of the steel plates in a pit yesterday but it also appears there are some type of metal bases in some/all of the pits as well. Same size/function as whats on the rifle range? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or pointers!
