  1. With everyone I talked to saying what a bad job Murphy has done with not just the virus but in general. He's still getting positive approval ratings. Just how can any R expect to win when all the polls will say is how well Murphy did running the state. We couldn't even get a good showing to impeach him. Say what you will but the D machine is well oiled here.
  2. Don't worry about passing the live fire part. The instructors aren't there to fail anyone. As long as you don't shoot anybody you're golden.
  3. My bride applied for her FID card and 2 days later got the confirmation that her references were complete.-Don't they request you get fingerprinted before they start the background check? Nothing so far about getting that done.
  4. If it passes, short term price increase. As time goes on what will happen to all that ammo if you can't use it? Unless everyone's grandfathered in.
  5. Or have a fire or break in. Things we as Americans shouldn't have to worry about but the government is more then fast to make us the criminal.
  6. How do you tell the difference between a Canadian Police Officer, an Australian Police Officer, an American Police Officer and a Scottish Police Officer? Consider this test scenario: QUESTION: You're a policeman, on duty by yourself. You are walking on a deserted street late at night. Suddenly, an armed man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams something that sounds like obscenities, raises the knife and lunges at you. You are carrying your truncheon and are an expert in using it. However, you have only a split second to react before he reaches you. What do you do? ANSWERS: Canadian Police Officer: Firstly, the Officer must consider the man's human rights. 1) Does the man look poor and/or oppressed? 2) Is he newly arrived in this country and does not yet understand the law?3) Is this really a knife or a ceremonial dagger? 4) Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack? 5) Am I dressed provocatively? 6) Could I run away? 7) Could I possibly swing my truncheon and knock the knife out of his hand? 8) Should I try and negotiate with him to discuss his wrong-doings? 9) Why am I carrying a truncheon anyway and what kind of message does this send to society? 10) Does he definitely want to kill me or would he be content just to wound me? 11) If I were to grab his knees and hold on, would he still want to stab and kill me? 12) If I raise my truncheon and he turns and runs away, do I get blamed if he falls over, knocks his head and kills himself? 13) If I hurt him and lose the subsequent court case, does he have the opportunity to sue me, cost me my job, my credibility and the loss of my family home? 8. At least the RSOs I know might say something if you peeled off 30 quick ones. I'd worry more about a "Karen" making an issue. The RSO would then almost have to do something. Remember, stupid is as stupid does.
  9. This^^^ I think if they're looking at your mags..You have bigger issues to worry about.
  10. I'm sure Mike at tier one can help you. https://tieronedefense.com/

  15. https://www.amazon.com/Harris-SCLF16-Stay-Clean-Soldering/dp/B001HW8E1M Is the flux to use. Make sure you clean the spot well before AND after. Heat control is key.
  16. yawanna? I just changed the tank on my '87 Buick if you do....lol
  17. Any refer/AC shop could silver solder it up. Maybe even a radiator shop. An old plumber that still remembers how to solder can use Stay Brite. Might not do well over an open fire though unless the holes kept under water.
  18. If I had to transfer fuel oil often I would definitely get something battery powered. That said, I know that if I needed one only occasionally in an emergency...the batteries would be dead. I know this to be true. So count on it. I'd opt for a hand powered unit something like this one I found. https://www.amazon.com/Koehler-Enterprises-RA990-Multi-Use-Transfer/dp/B0181EDCZ6/ref=psdc_15707731_t1_B00GW3QM4C?th=1
  19. "It did not cycle well" Could be just needs to be broken in. What brand 22lr are you using? While my DPMS dedicated 22lr upper eats almost anything, it runs best on CCI mini mags. Mini mags are the gold standard. I gave away a box of Remington .22lrs they cycled so badly. So try different brands to find what cycles best in your gun. The mag can also be an issue. My buddies CMMG conversion would stove pipe with one of his mags. I swapped mags with him and it went away. Never had a problem with his mag in my rifle. Oh...and lube it up some.
