  1. ATF issued a letter specifically that Franklin Armory Reformation can not be transferred.
  2. Simple solution eliminate unconstitutional background checks.
  3. I hope there is another thread on this case. The doctor said he was not threatened. He said he knew where he lived in reference to bringing the media to the doctors house. Thankfully firearm's owners in VA have a set.
  4. Vaping worked for me. Don't use the preloaded pods. They are filled with bad chemicals too. Best to get a vape and look for a good natural juice that you like and step down the nicotine. As for cure for cancer read that deworming medicine for dogs fenbendazole worked for a couple people 100%. There was promising research going on with pinworm medicine for humans mebenzadole, but supposedly testing came to a halt and price of the medicine increased 7500%.
  5. Amazing that there can be any negativity towards something so positive.
  6. I think many vaccinations should be done, but no one should be forced by the state. The flu and chicken pox vaccines I do not agree with. Flu my kids got out of. Chicken Pox I was not able to get around. MMR should be seperated out and certainly not given with other vaccines at the same time. At the same time kids who are not vaccinated the state should be allowed to exclude from going to public school, and private schools should be allowed to exclude them as well. Don't want to vaccinate then home school. This law doesn't seem to force children to get vaccinated just eliminates the religious exemption for them to attend school if not vaccinated. I see no issue with this one. There is a choice. Also unlike the liability insurance for firearms ownership which is an infringement on a Constitutional Right there is no Constitutional Right to Education in America.
  7. And logged in to gun forum to read the Anti expressing his anti views. No chance SCOTUS would allow such a ridiculous infringement on a Constitutional right. No point in debating it.
  8. The no duty to retreat from ones dwelling is codified in 2C:3-4. Just one of those NJ Myths that we don't have a Castle Doctrine and have to run from our home.
  9. If it is a sporting arm it can be sent to a FFL01 and they do not need to import mark it. You still need an import permit. Military arms must be C&R and original configuration and must be shipped to FFL08. Permits are filed here. Once approved depending on the country being sent from permits then get filed there or simply sent to FFL08. Cost for a single firearm is going to be close to $1k. I have imported multiple times from a few countries. I try to get costs down to around $250 a firearm. It is nearly impossible unless you have a friend in the other country who is willing to help you and you trust them. All firearms imported by a FFL08 must be import marked. Pre 1898 non NFA are not considered firearms and no permits are needed on a federal level. No you can't import cheap SVT or SKS there are other laws, treaties, and EOs that impact what can be imported and what can not.
  10. $600-$700 non matching and stock looks at a minimum agressively cleaned. Though on GunBroker you will probably get $1,200.
  11. ITAAR no longer restricts scopes except those with certain thermal and night vision capabilities.
  12. NJ Definition of Antique Firearm fromNJAC Title 13 Chapter 54 Antique firearm" means any firearm, which is incapable of being fired or discharged, or which does not fire fixed ammunition regardless of the date of manufacture, or was manufactured before 1898, for which cartridge ammunition is not commercially available, and is possessed as a curiosity or ornament or for its historical significance or value. 13. @JasonSeidman maybe you have the answer
  14. NJ does recognize FFL03 under new law but still can't have shipped to house. However FFL03 to FFL03 transfers of C&R firearms does not require a FFL01. Also there is no such thing as an antique handgun in NJ, so yes black powder pistols do require a permit. Even matchlocks require a permit.
  15. The reason I asked about commerically available ammo is that is a requirement for a rifle to be an antique in NJ, that ammo is not commerically available and it is made prior to 1898.
  16. Is 41 Swiss Rimfire commercially available, not 41 Remington? If not then 1878 Swiss Verterelli rifle would be antique in NJ and able to be shipped to house no? BB rifles can not because they don't meet antique rifle definition in NJ. Can anyone site where they can not be shipped?
  17. Would this compressor work for running autoshop lifts and airtools, or is it an overkill.
  18. Yes very happy with my E8 but it is kind of loud so don't get to use it daily because I am up and out at least an hour before the family.
  19. I stopped reading at AVB's suggest that typical houses have balloon framing. Not since the 1920s has balloon framing been in widespread use. 2x6 depends on the span for code. However if you aren't planning on putting heavy items in the attic and are only using for storage the 2'x2' 3/4 T&G would be the easiest to install and best bet. If you are really concerned with strengthening then add 2"x10" joists. Its an overkill and completely unnecessary IMO. You can also reduce the load some by installing collar ties between the ceiling joists and roof rafters.
Steve has some of the best prices around and you can't beat the conversation. Highly recommend.
  20. Tapatalk still doesn't work. For those complaining about ads in Tapatalk spend the $1 for the pro version.
  21. I'm in Central NJ one of the few Republican areas of the state. Granted Chris Smith is a RINO. Also not my Rep anymore due to the Gerrymandering that was permitted here, but is still for my parents in the next town over. I did lose the few mags I had due to a Rogue Wave while target shooting in International Waters. Probably wasn't the best idea going that far out in a 25' boat when the seas were so rough but other than losing the mags we made it back safe.
  22. Barrel was replaced. I've shot originals with low serials. The whole heat treatment thing is overblown IMO. That one should be good to go. Just do not use modern commercial ammo.
