  1. Do I think gun owners (and homeowners who feel overtaxed... and several other categories of people) should do everything in their power to fight a Murphy governorship? Yes. Do I think we should ASSUME a lower round limit? No. Do I think we can engage in "what if" conjecture and start formulating our own plans accordingly as we each see fit in case it happens? Yes. Do I think we should be able to do that without ducking incoming flames from other posters? (or, umm, tampons as it were?) Yes. And finally... Do I indeed like men who respond to a swift, corrective rap on the nose with a rolled up newspaper? Why, YES... yes I do... very much!
  2. I love that quality in a man. (Ignore Voyager on this point... LMAO).
  3. May I point out the obvious...? NOWHERE in this thread have I stated what I personally would or would not do. (Why would I spout that on an online forum?) And with all due respect, nor do any of you have a clue as to what organizations I may or may not belong to, whether I do or do not vote, or what my level of political activism is. If you knew all that, ummm... we probably wouldn't even be having this discussion (LOL). But, my reasonable knowledge of human nature tells me that IF Murphy's governorship does happen and lower magazine limits are passed... some will comply, some will not. Business owners in neighboring states would be wise to capitalize on those who wish to comply. Hellooooo??? What is so offensive about that? Sheesh. I appreciate that you're wrapped up in defiant fervor boys... I applaud it actually... but if others decide to fully comply, that's THEIR business. Hey, maybe some people are in an occupation where an arrest would be catastrophic to their career - everyone's risk profile is different. I'm not going to judge. That's all!
  4. Well, frankly, I think this is all a bit premature really --- but suppose they do change magazine limits, what does that mean - legally? What would the corresponding "penalty" be if caught with one? A fine? Jail time? Will people find the risk worth the benefit? I'm just saying it's an individual choice, that's all. And it's each individual's to make.
  5. Now, now!! Simmer down. The fact is that people will do whatever they're comfortable with... not with what you guilt them into. I'm guessing that's going to be a wide range of behavior depending on how compliant/non-compliant, worried/relaxed, or apolitical/activist each person might be. Some people will get them all pinned, some might get 1 or 2 pinned just to take to the range but keep the rest (unaltered) at home, some might stash them at a PA range they join, others (like you and Kevin) will apparently give a firm resounding to authority figures. I'm personally not going to question anyone else's choices. Each to their own. It's their dime, their principles, their risk. As long as they don't snitch on another gun owner like a little weenie, I have no problem with what anyone does.
  6. I keep thinking if Heritage Guild Easton (and any other PA ranges just over the border) don't put in a wall of small rentable lockers, they're bonkers. That would be easy money from the oppressed citizenry of New Jersey looking for a place to squirrel away their evil contraband.
  7. Goodness, Zeke... she's got you outgunned at every turn, doesn't she?
  8. OMG, such a great movie! Not suited to all tastes though, that's for sure.
  9. This is what I've been thinking too. First, it ain't over 'til it's over. (Anyone remember "2 Americas" John Edwards? Shit happens. You never know what last minute surprises will happen during a campaign.) And second, if a Dem does get in, some outrageous laws will be passed, lawsuits will be filed, they will wind their way through the system, and then HOPEFULLY, the 1 certain legacy that Trump will leave (his Supreme Court and other Federal court appointments) will prove critical. Hopefully, they'll provide some decent pro-2A outcomes. But, all of that takes time... years not months... so buckle up.
  10. A whirling dervish... of Haiku proficiency. I feel small, humbled.

  16. OK...I haven't used this product nor am I an experienced shooter... but I thought this next product looked kinda clever.. just a way to made the slide more "grippy". It's called Slide Spider. They have styles to fit a range of guns, so that might not fit OGR's requirement for a universal gadget. It's also a "modification" of sorts, but an inexpensive, self-adhesive one. It's also fairly innocuous-looking IMO (the black ones anyway, against a black finish gun). One advantage it has over a racker, I guess... since it's affixed to the gun, you don't have to worry that you forgot to put it in your range bag! Anyway, perhaps worth checking out for OGR... maybe anyone else with grip issues: https://www.arachnigrip.com/ - I'd be interested to hear if anyone has tried this and what they thought. Good thread. A lot of people have weak hands for any number of reasons. My goodness... there's a gadget for every concern in this hobby!!!
  17. You tell him, HE! More haikus for one and all... More for me... and you!

  20. Oh, bhunted! You, young man, get a D- ...and 3 days of detention! Did you even read the instructions? line 1: 5 syllables... line 2: 7 syllables... line 3: 5 syllables Example: My new fan whispers. (5) Its words form a sweet Haiku. (7) It keeps me so cool. (5) Please try harder!! Or... you'll be in summer school too.
