  1. Oh obviously dude i get it. Your rates are completely reasonable as previously mentioned. I'm well aware of what it requires I Charge anywhere from 3 to 5$ as a handling fee to cover expenses (Fuel, ink, etc). Was just pointing out that you dont have to spend 14$ on flat rate boxes, there's cheaper alternatives. If you guys need any shipping supplies and are close to Newark i can bring some up for you.
  2. So i put my rifles up on Armslist, and i've got people asking me why i want to go through an FFL and asking for FTF transactions. I'm not sure if they are unaware of the new laws or if they think i'm willing to break it for a stranger with a few hundred bucks, yet.. we'll see.. lol
  3. Wait whats the issue with shipping? Stick em in an envelope. I Can hook you up with a box through my supplier, if you're interested LMK. We go through a bunch of padded envelopes.. First class (probably 1 shirt; under 16 ounces) is going to run you about $3.50. Any more than that, priority mail within NJ up to a few pounds (Box will be small, its just shirts; and i can hook you up with boxes too at my rates FWIW) will be well under 10$. I'm talkin 6 or 7 bucks within NJ for half a dozen shirts squished in a box, id bet. I Ship a few thousand boxes a year, but i ship through eBay, so the only discount i get is basically the standard 'online' discount. You can print the labels right thru paypal.
  4. FWIW i work up in Newark once in a while. I Can always pick shirts up while i'm there for people, and they are welcome to swing by my house in Glassboro to pick them up. I Won't go out of my way to deliver them or anything though. Shipping for $6 is very reasonable. Throw em in a bubble mailer and ship em First Class. BTW, Are the shirts going to be ready in Nov/Dec? Or are you just accepting orders until then and distributing them throughout November? I'm in for one or two, for sure. Wondering what brand the blanks are, im sure others might want to know too? Just wondering if i'll be a Small (Generally) or if to go with a Medium.
  5. Chicken holiday. Clinton ave right by stratford. Anything they fry is pretty good.
  6. Tbh the best fried chicken ive had is the hood ass spot that rents a store from my father up in Newark. Gives me the shits like 75% of the time but on extremely lengthy/crappy days its a great way to chill out when its over. Lmao
  7. After multiple emails and no response, the ffl holder called me and offered no explanation, apology, or anything. Just a "if you want you can come buy it". I emailed corporate with a WTF and they gave me a gift card for 10% (60$), totaling $110 in gift cards. They will be spent on whatever i can find there and thatll likely be the last time i take the trip out there. Plenty of local alternatives and seeing as therea no incentives for me to buy it there (i get the cards anyways), ill just take the trip out to tanners if i care to buy the shotgun. Right now it looks like ill be setting funds aside for a new-to-me Kubota or somethin'
  8. A pack a day is half an insurance payment. Just sayin...... so thats one way to motivate yourself
  9. Welcome! New Gloucester cty resident myself but been on here a while.
  10. He's a property manager up in Newark, i work up there once in a while too.. Albert Almeida IIRC. He was involved in the whole Party of Six lawsuit and what not, the result of which was him getting his CCW permit and as far as i know thats about it.
  11. I Think you're talking about Almeida or whatever, who was in that last big CCW lawsuit and ended up being given a permit just to shut down the case?
  12. Haha perfect timing. I did all of mine last night/today. The H&K VP9 ones turned my mags into 8rd mags. I Had to shave them down 1/4"+ just to fit 10 rounds with a bit of slack so that the mags actually fit. Even then, they go in but not as easily as they used to. Had to use a belt sander to shave down the block and the little retaining piece of plastic that holds the bottom plate on. Had the same issue with pretty much all of the other blocks (Sig P226 required i cut the loop on the spring that holds the base plate). The glock one also had to be sanded down a bit but nowhere near as much as the VP9 ones. What should have taken an hour or two at most took like 6 hours of taking apart mags, sanding down plastic components and then putting the mag back together until it comfortably fit 10 rds while making sure it wont fit 11.. Unfortunately it doesnt seem like there is an alternative but if there is, id suggest anyone reading this go that route. The ones from magblocks.com kinda sucked....
  13. Just the way i like it. External hinges, that is.
  14. Cool, thanks. I had a 10/22 takedown for a short period of time but wasn't a big fan of it and ended up selling it off. Maybe ill pick one up under the same nics check for the stoeger i want to buy if i ever get to tanners or cabelas makes shit right.
  15. Someone is going to get a great deal on a safe, let alone one of the fire/waterproof ones.
  16. Not gonna be stuck with anything; don't ya worry. Plenty of opportunistic people that will gladly save money on ammo
  17. Assuming you're trying to sell it? LOL Not looking for new calibers, sorry. A 22lr bolt gun would be cool but id prefer a 556 bolt gun first.
  18. Thinking that's what ill do.. Do i start with a standard 10/22 or a 10/22 takedown? Id imagine the accessories for one or the other vary?
  19. Extra charge for using Hollow pointers in a crime. Legal to use for home defense, but if the shooting is ruled assault, manslaughter, whatever... they can tack on those extra charges. I'm not a Lawyer, i just like readin' on here.
  20. Thanks for sharing. Seen it, made what i thought was a reasonable offer the weekend before the ban of f2f private sales... lol. Not willing to pay a ton of extra $$ because its some anniversary edition. Gona beat it up anyways lol.
  21. Im down in Gloucester county but if you ever want to get together to shoot, just let me know! Have all sorts of steel targets and various firearms you can try out! Unfortunately guests are limited to two, though.
  22. If they ARE legal, ill buy one.. just lmk if ya get it squared away. that said, i hate to suggest this but given that youve exhausted other resources, maybe contact the NJSP firearms squad? IMO if its marked 10/22 its a 10/22. Just my opinion.
  23. This. Make one so i can buy one. Ive been eyeing an AK but im clueless. The tacticooled ones are tacticool. I want 1.
