Left a message with the licenseing coordinator and got a call back on the the 30th day of the application being submitted. He told me that it was in process. The following day my references and employment received the letters. Hopefully within the next few days i will get the call to come pick them up.

BIG +1 for the Vortex Strike eagle. I have one on my Scar 17 using the Vortex mount and its solid. Zero'd in 10 rounds and has not moved yet after a number of range days. Scope and mount roughly $400 http://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Cantilever-Mount-Offset-CM-202/dp/B009N24RN2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1461025457&sr=8-6&keywords=vortex+strike+eagle+1-6x24 http://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optics-Strike-AR-BDC-Reticle/dp/B00S2P2KKS/ref=pd_sim_200_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=31ydtJDvWeL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1QJBFNENR23MQ02V01ER -
So i gave it a shot. I must say the under cuts make the 19 feel so much better in my big hands. They should come standard from the factory this way. What a difference! 20 minutes with the Dremel and she feels like a different pistol.

Have any of my fellow Bridgewater residents experienced longer permit wait times? I've submitted my paper over 30 days now and my employer or references have not received the usual letters. Ive emailed and left a message with Mr. Hanlon to confirm he received my application but no response. This seems odd. Permits are usually very quick. I have never waited more than 3 weeks. Just curious if anyone else in town is have similar issue.

Scratch my last comment. I just found out Atlantic Tactical did not renew their commercial sales license and they are now strictly a public safety shop.
-
I think Atlantic Tactical in somerset sells only blue label i picked up a Gen 4 21 a couple years ago for for a little over $500. i am not LE either. came with 3 - 13rd mags to boot. Most places i saw only gave 10 rounders.

I was thinking the same thing...lol would suck to shoot a $600 piece of equipment 1st time out

Anyone use one of these? do they work well? http://www.bullseyecamera.com/

Robbinsville Twp now longer wait times
GramGun79 replied to gunnarsport's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I think this is happening state wide. Usually in Bridgewater i get my permits in 2-3 weeks. this recent round has been almost 2 weeks and my references still have not received their letters. -
How about Kimber?? whats your thoughts them guys

I went with the 17s. Like JackDaWack said there are so many options in 5.56 but for 308 its probably one of the best battle rifles you can buy. I bought mine from texas tactical on GB. $2700 shipped. Bullseye Tactical in Woodbridge did the transfer and compliance work. Pinned the stock - No more fold or adustment Pinned and welded the muzzle brake blocked and pinned 4 mags Between transfer and work it was another $200

FPID Change of Address
GramGun79 replied to ChrisJM981's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
No i have not moved yet. We are looking for a new home. My question was when i do move and put in for change of address am i not allowed to use my guns or have the ability to purchase new ones until the new card comes in? Will the old card still be valid for use? Wonder if this standard for all towns? -
FPID Change of Address
GramGun79 replied to ChrisJM981's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I have never moved from one town to another prior to having an FPID. I am currently looking for a new home in neighboring town. Will i still be able to purchase new firearms, ammo, travel with guns etc. during the process of changing my address? -

Tactical Training Center Range Flemington, NJ
GramGun79 replied to DAHL's topic in Ranges & Gun Shops
RTSP has the best membership program. I think its $350yr unlimited range use without paying extra fee's Military gets $50 off and LEO $175 for full membership. I really like TTC. Hopefully they come down on the pricing. Its a nice range and only 10 minutes from my house. -
