Hi, I am remembering at class I took at RTSP lady instructor said - don't load one in chamber and ten in mag, just keep it 10 total with one in chamber. Still don't understand why? NJ required 10 rounds mags and it is 10, so where is violation? What do you carry?

it is 3 years since stupid 10 rounds ban, why anyone still thinking it will not stay? I would worry if they would ask for less than 10 at this point.

Main Shield Plus 9mm with red dot, secondary Glock 19 mos with red dot as well. Also for the next round it might be different guns.

What did you do with it really? Waiting for what and when, that is what I am asking. We are having 2 years only until next renewal.

I don't understand on how we should use it? I went out of my home with my pistol in holster, got into car, unload it, place it to the safe, drove to the supermarket, got my pistol to the holster loaded, walk to the supermarket and realized that I am not allowed to go inside, got back to my car unload and hide my pistol....wtf is this? I could only walk my dog around my house with my pistol?

It is already weird feelings, I did carry for over month with my new permit and feel myself the same free as anyone in FL, GA, TX etc....and now we are all back to the "prison" of not carry When is this injunction will happen? If no carry at least in car will continue I might give up on this permit.

By the new law this governour just signed they are basically halted our permits, so don't worry about mindset for now, it should remain the same as it was before Bruen.

Hi, planning my trip to Florida with my Ram and would like to know what do I need to get besides my NJ carry permit? I heard GA is ok for our permit. What about other states on my way, I know to bypass Maryland and DC what else? I am taking PA route not 95. Can I get one permit to cover all of them and how? Thanks!

Shield Plus with red dot most of the time, Glock 19/red dot and flashlight - is bulky and rare.

after two weeks of total carry i end up with appendix vedder holster with one clamp or cheap belt on my chest under jacket. 4 o'clock position - not sure yet. and pistol Shield Plus with red dot is excellent option. I tried my another allowed pistol Glock 19 and it is too big and heavy.

I self laminate couple of copies of the court order and fold it as it is and stick in car permanently and another laminated copy with me folded. You could get self laminated plastic in Staples.

Think about short trips between "post offices" and your gun is in car safe loaded, how would you do it now without braking current NJ laws? Taking it out of safe and stick it into pants every 5 min is not anyhow easy as well, also not that good if people/cameras watching you doing it around your car. So, what the solution on this?

honestly this two page order is a pain, I keep forgetting it. I did many copies and place them in car, jackets etc for now. but looking for the better suggestion too.

Hi, so I got permit and I do carry now thanks to God! no restrictions! Questions: - I can't carry at my work, i got safe in my truck and I could lock it there. Since NJ law we need to keep guns unloaded and ammo/gun separate place, does it apply on ccw pistol if keep in safe? - If above is ok to keep in safe loaded, can I just occasionally drive like this with gun in safe? - if police stop you, would you say - I have ccw pistol in safe if they ask about gun? Thanks!

All this would be OK if they process at least one!!! permit and we see it in Somerset. Other counties doesn't count because it could be republican judge there, it is like small kingdom and judge us the king of it. Nobody will blame him for expired qualifications, it is written rule and he will say - i am busy with....whatever. I paid $168 for mine qualification and if it will expire - I am out, that is what they like.

You are too optimistic, also unfortunatly you are believer in rules and laws and they don't because power is currently in their hands. It is up to you to wait and waste time and money or not, I would't if I knew that besides extrimely buracratic and costly procedure I have to wait for nothing for so long. And don't forget in two years again... Vote correctly first place, liberals will not allow us with guns in NJ.

There is no point of applying in Somerset, nothing is approved and I doubt it will untill all these qualification we did will expire. Don't waste your money and time on this BS. I talk to the PD to warn people about, judge doesn't care and didnt tell anything reasonable. I am on 72 days since applying, some are over 100 days in this county, nothing.
