  2. All you need is a 1/8" drill bit and 1/8" rollpins from Lowes. Pin the stock through the lower rib on the buffer tube. Pin the muzzle device (Mikulek) and get someone to slap a tack weld on it.
  3. Because the parked car had zero chance to avoid it. lol
  4. They don't even accept your gun until it's time to work on it. Policy is on their site. I found someone that stripped their PXXX Sig to see what work was done and did it to mine.
  5. The ticket was probable the difference, but I heard that bit of info straight from my insurance agent. Someone cut in front of one of my employees, had zero time to react and ironically said employee was being followed by a cop who even stated in the report there was zero time to react. Ins only paid out 75%.
  6. The only time someone is 100% at fault is a rear ender. You can get an estimate of the repairs and see if the kid/parents want to pay out of pocket. If you go through insurance just send the police report to them, they will send out an adjuster to appraise the damage. If it's more than 50% of what the car is worth they will total it and send you a check for "market value". DO NOT accept their version of market value, it's the other insurance company trying to give you as least amount of money as possible. Look around on CL and Ebay for listings similar to your vehicle, print them out and send them to the other insurance company. I had one car in my fleet get totaled beyond repair, the ins comapany wanted to pay out like $700, you can't even buy a running car for that. IIRC, I wound up getting like $1400 because of the REAL market value. These are all high mileage cars. It's only "totaled" as far as the insurance company is concerned. I've had cars get totaled by insurance, fixed them myself then a few years later get into another accident and totaled again. lol (gotta love Jersey) No need to do anything with your title.

    Tools

I like to buy tools as I need them, not so much big sets like that. I might only use 2-3 of those tools. You can find the 3pc armorers set on Ebay for ~$40, punch set under $10, front sight tool under $10. I have a small dedicated tool box for guns, whenever I need a specific tool it gets tossed in the box. Don't forget to buy an AR cleaning kit or at least the brush if you have other kits.

    Tools

3pc armorers set, punch set, long allen key, front sight tool. Everything else just regular handtools.
  9. There are a ton of options between "mouse guns" and full size guns.
  10. I buy what I want. Carry guns are good to stash around the house.
  11. Because OBDII was in all cars 1996+. This eliminates the need for the old sniff test. They just plug into the OBD port and check for faults. No motorcycle inspection at all.

    SIG P938

Try a pinky extention (Pearce, etc) if they offer them and/or a slip over grip, or try wrapping the grips with some tape.
  13. Agreed. The gun is the cheap part, what are you going to feed it?
  14. I do the 684/84 to 91 up to Keene. Have done it many times with dogs. There's small rest stops along the way. I always stop at this one on the way back: https://www.google.com/maps/place/41%C2%B013'53.5%22N+73%C2%B040'51.8%22W/@41.231528,-73.6832337,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d41.231528!4d-73.681045 Rush hour can be killer.
  15. Was looking into an expungement for a friend of mine, shoplifting under $20, clean record besides that, worth being expunged?
  16. Definitely not removing blame for basic gun safety, but... I'm a member there and can tell you the counter where you sign in/out and walk by to get in/out of the range is the same counter they rent pistols from. It gets pretty hectic in that area when it's busy. IMO, they should move the rental counter so the employee can focus on the rental.
  17. I'll trade you that sewer bill for my three thousand dollar property tax increase.
  18. I dont get grinding/blending the weld. No visual proof do you have it was pinned so someone would have to put a wrench on it. I left my tack weld as-is. Its on the bottom anyway.
  19. One thing I saw on a yt vid was to remove the barrels and tap them with a handle. Should ring. If it sounds like a thud the rib might be loose. Been looking for one myself.
  20. I'd have all 45's but no one wants to buy my 9mm.
