  1. I'm going but I would easily trade Volbeat for System of a Down, Slayer or even Megadeth. A7X is good enough for an opener as long as they stick to their older stuff. Kind of a weird pairing though, I always felt the other members of the Big 4 were really the only proper opening acts. Newer metal is just so different from Metallica, doesn't sound right. The last times I saw Metallica they were opened up for by the likes of Godsmack, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and other god forsaken crap that made me want to throw myself over the nosebleed railing.
  2. Bankruptcy eh? Dang, glad I hopped on it. 1000 rds of quality ammo for $70 free shipping hard to find.
  3. Can someone fill me in on the vague legality of these hollow point mini mags?
  4. With regards to my question about how many people unable to manage their finances have firearm related incidents per year...my stance in asking that was in opposition to this legislation. I dislike laws passed that limit any rights, especially when it prevents so few of incidents. It's also demoralizing to me seeing our government spend so much time and effort on such trivial things instead of real issues. As generation after generation passes with nothing being accomplished, our overall rights are being chipped away like this, drowned in a sea of stupid little half-measurs like these.
  5. The host travels a lot for hunting; lots of cool stories on the ins and outs of different game in different states.
  6. ^As a footnote, we are in the golden age of podcasting or "new media". There are real treasures on the internet you just have to use discretion. We have unadulterated, uncensored and unregulated free flow of information. We have everything the news used to be or should have been. Big brother is already starting to dip its greasy fingers in it and eventually it will be influenced by the federal government.

  8. How many lawful, firearm-owning people, who are incapable of handling their own finances, have firearm-related incidents in New Jersey per year? Per decade?
  9. You've done a great service. Maxed limit out on both mini-mags. Was looking for it ever since all that brouhaha about it being discontinued.
  10. New Arsenal SLR107 is a great value. A real eastern bloc AKM at American AK price.
  11. ^Love the "have to wait 29 more days to use" part. I've got 2 pistol permits, that I've already extended, that are due to expire in February. No idea if I want to use them or not; trying to sell a couple rifles before I buy another handgun. I really like those M&P 2.0's.
  12. Arsenal SAM7R-61. Built like a brick ****house, accurate, light recoil, smooth operation, fit of a Cadillac (sans finish). Fun as hell.
  13. Highly recommend "Shadow Divers" by Robert Kurson. Any New Jerseyan should read it, particularly in the Monmouth-Ocean area or any divers, saltwater fisherman etc. About one of the last German U-Boat wrecks discovered off Brielle in the 90's. Awesome read, and well-researched on the topic of diving. Also suspenseful and dramatic. That dude John Chatterton who's been on that Oak Island show co-discovered the U-Boat. "Toms River" by Dan Fagin also recommended for anyone in MonOc area. Well written and educational; will open your eyes to just how silently dangerous the air in your home or water on your tap can be. Currently plodding through "AK-47: The Grim Reaper" by Frank Iannamico. It is THE book to own for AK owners. Believe it or not, cheapest price is directly from the publisher, not Amazon or B&N. "Crashing Through" by Robert Kurson is on my next list. It's about a guy who was blind most of his life and accomplished amazing things like riding motorcycles and working for the CIA, who ended up gaining his vision back by stem cell surgery, only to struggle with life BECAUSE he got his vision back. I'm almost strictly non-fiction. The way I see it, billions of people have lived on this Earth, and by now in the 21st century so many extraordinary events and people have been put on the books that there's enough to read about for lifetimes.

Congrats. God only knows what the conditions will be for the next opening of sales. Took 30-60 days after receiving that email to get mine back in May; 45 to be precise.
