  1. I wonder how many people realize that? I didn't until I owned (i.e. had to clean) a gun.
  2. I have only the news report and not the incident report, but according to the article, "Freeman, a neighbor, grabbed his revolver, entered the home, saw Foster trying to kill the children and shot him twice in the back, Bratcher said." I'm concerned that the lack of warning, and the fact that he shot the man in the back might be issues for the police. That being said, there was a lot going on in that bathroom and a mother and children were in danger. I don't know what's required under OK law, but I hope that they consider all of the evidence as they weigh whether he should face charges.
  3. I could have done without saving the grieving parents who decided to join Moms Demand Action for the last segment, but otherwise gun owners and advocates were shown in a favorable light. I am pleasantly surprised.
  4. This one may be problematic, but I understand why Mr. Freeman did what he did: "Neighbor Kills Oklahoma Man Trying to Drown Twin Babies, Police Say" http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/neighbor-kills-oklahoma-man-trying-drown-twin-babies-police-say-n768116
  5. Should I watch this tonight? http://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2017/05/31/kamau-bell-buys-a-gun-united-shades-orig.cnn

    Dunkirk

First UpLULAs and now this? Your situational awareness begins to worry me… Interesting, but not the source of my user name. It's the accent and the eyes man! Do I need to start pic spamming?

    Dunkirk

While I know better than to make assumptions about an actor because of a character he portrays, there was always a connection in my mind between him and "Patrick Bateman", so it's fair to say we started out on the wrong foot. Then came his Terminator: Salvation set meltdown and the domestic altercation with his mom and sister, and that was it. Too many negative associations. The man became a big tall glass of NOPE. It's not a loss; Hollywood has continued to chuck hot Englishmen at my eyeballs: Idris Elba, Benedict Cumberbatch, the aforementioned Tom Hardy…keep 'em comin' Britannia!

    Dunkirk

What can I say, I have high standards. By the way, 1 tasty magician—not at his most Wolverine sadly. I am NOT a Chrisitian Bale fan. Of course now this begs the question: has anyone pulled off a really successful Gothic Horror since Nosferatu?

    Dunkirk

*cough* Interstellar *cough* The Prestige *cough* My hope is that Dunkirk is in keeping with Nolan's masterpieces (I think Inception was his best), but it's not a given that it will be fantastic. And where's the love for Cillian Murphy?
  10. Make sure you're logged in. Click on "Help" on the main page under the search box. On the "how may we help you?" page, scroll to the bottom and mouse over "Need more help?" Click on "Contact Us" on the right side. Your order history will pop up. Select the correct order and continue through the steps. Eventually you will have the option to email, chat or speak with a rep (they call you, usually in under 2 minutes). ETA: There's also the general help number (1 (888) 280-4331), but it's MUCH FASTER if you go through your account.
  11. Pearlman is at it again: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2710943-tupac-glocks-and-in-n-out-a-football-teams-run-in-with-the-rapper-revealed For a site that's supposed to be about "Sports storytelling worth your time" they're devoting a lot of space to anti-gun propaganda.
  12. I'm not saying that wouldn't happen, but how long could it withstand a legal challenge? Isn't one of the arguments behind not requiring ID to vote that it disproportionately burdens the poor because of the fees involved in obtaining state ID? The left can't shouldn't argue that $40 violates the 15th, 19th and 26th, but that {insert ridiculous cost of CC training course here} is no impediment to the 2nd.
  13. Why? This sounds like a LE policy issue, not a problem with cameras. ^^^ Never a good idea…
  14. I've come to the conclusion that all bills pertaining to firearms in the NJSL have zombie powers: https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/84394-a4371-s2830-—-firearm-violence-research-center-at-rutgers/
  15. The $100 fee is proposed in A800. There are currently 183 proposed bills for "PUBLIC SAFETY - WEAPONS" currently milling about the NJ Legislature (including one reducing magazine limits to FIVE rounds), and if Phil Murphy is elected expect to see the lion's share to written into NJ law. ETA: I just realized A800 was withdrawn… I'm happy about that but I wonder why?
