  1. I stand corrected, I didn't see the choice part. Regardless we need to do a better job securing the schools and letting the people who choose to carry, carry. I just get pissed that everything nowadays turns into left-right, red-blue argument and nothing gets done. Everyone is terrified to lose their base and all they worry about is their next election. I think lots of issues need to be looked at from all angles and the policy makers need to work together to fix them. In a perfect world I suppose!
  2. So let me get this straight. If a teacher chooses not to carry, yet will shield their students with their body that makes them a dumbass? By that mentality, every single concert goer, every single sporting events spectator and everybody in a mall should be carrying? What ever happened to security provided by people who want to, and are trained to do it. Not everyone likes guns and is comfortable with them like we are. And there is no way you can make them be.
  3. Sure as hell hope so since I just put one on my Rock River!
  4. That's a good point about the paint. Bad guys suck!
  5. I think the color orange on toy guns is a good idea and should be enforced. LEO's have to make split second decisions and trying figure out if a gun is a toy should not be one of them. However, I do agree the airgun laws are crazy here.
  6. Totally agree with DSD. I have an MP-15 22 PC version and threw a cheap 6x airgun scope on it and it shoots great. Save your money for the big guys. That gets addictve fast!

  8. Primary Arms has Anderson closed ear lowers on sale and I picked up one to use for my 20 RRA varmint upper (556/223). The question I have is does it matter if I use a carbine or rifle buffer assembly? Based on my research it shouldn't... but I wanted some more input. Thanks! Oh btw here's the link for the lower: http://www.primaryarms.com/anderson-manufacturing-ar-15-stripped-lower-receiver-closed-ear-ar-15-a3-lwfor-um-closed
  9. That's what the consensus is. RRA had a Black Friday sale and it was 25% off. Just couldn't resist!
  10. Santa brought me a 20" Rock River Varmint Upper and Nikon P-223 scope for my Spikes Lower. Can't wait to shoot this thing!
  11. Welcome Hoosier! I'm from Parsippany and know the area really well. If you ever have any questions about Morris Co.... fire away!
  12. Spikes Tactical built a 300 blk upper for me that is NJ compliant. Cost me about a grand and it took 6 weeks..but I love it. It came with a Dynacomp extreme compensator that works almost too well. A lot less flash and bang than my 5.56 guns.
  13. The thing that sucks about online ammo is the shipping. Sometimes it cancels out the savings. I try to hit Cabelas when they have free or $5 shipping.
