  1. So, you're accusing me of "internet phishing" because of a coincidence? Nice.
  2. Thanks Pizza Bob. I actually talked to my Police Dept. and as best I could recall thought I had it right. I wasn't sure about the CE form being needed for handguns. Good tip about the bill of sale. I am selling a long gun today as a matter of fact and making up a Bill of Sale right after this reply (BTW - I'm just filling out the CE, checking DL, giving copy to buyer, and providing Bill of Sale).
  3. Can someone please verify that what I "think" is correct is in fact correct? I am selling a handgun, in state, and privately. I plan on... 1. Checking the buyer's FID and check against Driver's License for matching purposes. 2. Both fill out Certificate of Eligibility form. Give copy to buyer. 3. Both fill out buyer's handgun permit. Blue copy to seller (me), Pink to buyer, White to State Police (Data Reduction Unit in West Trenton), Yellow copy to buyer's Police Dept. or whoever the issuing authority is. 4. Complete the sale. Am I missing anything? Any tips/suggestions? Should I insist on copying buyer's license/FID? Copy everything? Thanks.
  4. Need your opinions. I am selling a Taurus .357 Magnum stainless 6 inch revolver. Pristine condition, basically new - safe queen - 100 rounds through it. Plastic case, manuals, chargers, laser/laser mount included. Can't get the laser to work. Model 669VSS6L. In your opinion, will Taurus diagnose the issue and if needed, repair it under their lifetime warranty? Sorry but I cant seem to attach pictures in case you need to see what I'm talking about. The pictures can be found in the classifieds section on another forum, NewJxxxeyhunter. Thanks.
  5. Age is making me head to .243 direction. Joints have started to hurt, particularly the shoulders not to mention the eyesight isn't what it used to be. .243 is supposed to be a good caliber anyway, as long as you aren't elephant hunting. I guess nobody has a 750 in .243. NJGF's marketplace doesn't have ANY items.
  6. Were the mags original or aftermarket? Hmmmm, concerning, heck it looks like Remington discontinued the entire Woodsmaster lineup, the 750 being the last - were the issues too much to overcome for both Remington and buyers?
  7. Newbie, first post. Anyone have thoughts/input on the Remington 750, specifically in .243? Googling results in a lot of negative comments including; unreliability and even barrels wearing out. But do these comments apply to the 750 or more to the previous models? I might be interested in purchasing one (cash or through trade) but wanted to pick some brains first. Thanks.
