  1. Since I’m always tinkering with handloads plus I shoot 90% milsurp bolt rifles, not a lot. I’ll typically take 2-5 rifles and run 20-50 rounds through each. If I take my AR and/orHi-Point 9mm, that number goes up. I reload for every rifle I own. .223/5.56 to 8mm Steyr. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Ehh This was a thread showing a Swiss rifle collection. Appears to have bern hijacked by a completely different subject. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. K31 at the top, 2 K11’s and an 1889. Years of production span 1892-1943. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Oh yeah. Love my milsurps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Since I reload for so many rifle calibers, I keep a small stock (100) on hand. And a backup stock of commercial ammo, usually at least 500 per caliber. Reload for .223, 6.5x52, 6.5x55, 7x57, 7.62x39, 7.5x55, 7.92x57, 7.62x54r, 8x56r, .303, don’t reload for my handguns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nothing will change with me. As far as ammo. I reload for every weapon I own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have a VEPR in 7.62x54r with 20” barrel. Thinking about removing the pinned thread protector and installing an AK muzzle break. Are there NJ compliant implications here ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Found this red coded primer in a box of CCI BR4 (coded yellow) primers. It lacks the stamped “B” on the bottom. Is this a standard small rifle primer that got through ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Touchy AR.

Final update: Using meticulous QC, I reloaded more .223 using the gauge mentioned. Worked wonders. Lesson learned. Zero cycling or ejection issues. Accuracy was good at 100 yds. for an old shaky guy. Thanks for the input guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Touchy AR.

I do. It was one round got through and jammed my gun. It just goes to show that QC is important. It was a fail on my part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I reload myself. My first venture into .223. Brass is PMC. All my experience is with milsurps. 6.5mm up to 8mm. Swiss, Swede, Yugo, Spanish etc. I ordered a slotted case gauge from Sheridan Engineering to ensure my reloads are in spec. Semi-autos much less forgiving than bolt rifles.
