  1. Davidson's stopped selling threaded barreled hanguns to NJ this year.

Funny you mention that. Last year i was all set to get P320 in 45ACP then the sh!t hit the fan for Sig and everyone pulled sales for a while. So I got a Walther PPQ 45 instead. ($100 rebate also helped)

i have two. P220 combat and P229 Elite.
  4. I want to build a Polymer80 just for the principle of it.
  5. I'm a lifetime NRA and a member of NJ2A but facts are facts. (and what good they have done me but that is a topic for another thread) In about nine weeks there will be a 10 round mag law in effect in NJ. I still want to shoot legally in this state (law abiding citizen remember) so I'm prepared. ...are you?
  6. I use them all the time. "Knock on wood" not a single hiccup.
  7. This might actually be NJ legal. lol https://jt0smc-sdnfhigt.lagrangesystems.net/qEYZMWAkR/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/600x600/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/o/acolcgg1877hs.jpg.pagespeed.ic.t3BiQFMB5c.webp
  8. Luck favors the prepared. ..and no the dealer was NOT selling me 10R mags. In fact I bought a P229 Elite with three 15 round mags. I may look into getting one 10 mag for each of the hand guns I own just to be prepared. When I run drills I only use ten rounds in each now anyway so for training it doesn't make a difference either way. I can't carry in this state (but I can in 37 others) so it doesn't affect me there. But IF this stupid law gets passed by our stupid legislators I don't want to be one that can't go to the range legally while there is a backlog of 10 rounds orders waiting to filled here in the PRNJ. Is this paranoia or just being prepared? You be the judge.
  9. Ok. We will revisit in six months and Illl hope to eat some crow when no 10 round limit is passed. i vote either independent or republican but I'm also a realist. no worries since folks here are confident
  10. I'm not currently but when a local dealer says it's a "done deal" it is concerning that they are coming. when the time comes I'm storing my mags in PA.
  11. I just got back from a local dealer and they are putting their orders in for 10 rounders.
  12. This is why I'm a member of US Law Shield. Better to have pro gun lawyers watching your back in a state like this when the time comes to use your firearm outside the range.
  13. Sorry for bumping up an old thread but this topic came up in a welcome post. I'm a US Law Shield member and I posted this question on their forum. Since Nappen's law firm is affiliated with them (and who you get when you need help by using the service in NJ) I'll trust the answer they give as being definitive. https://forum.texaslawshield.com/index.php/topic,2446.0.html They did answer. So if the discharge at home is legal, using JHP in that discharge at home is also legal. This is the the same as shooting JHP at a range or while hunting. Which is legal to do so in NJ. Al
  14. Same level of quality after being acquired by CZ? ( not that CZ are not good quality but not hand made either)
