  1. Legit question if it passes and goes from 15 to 10, what do you do? How do you get your 15 rd clip to 10? Is that possible? Should I start shopping for 10rd clips? I know there's a gut response of "F" them but realistically what does a legal law abiding NJ citizen do to not get arrested, have to spend tens to hundreds of thousands on lawyers, and not go to jail for this mag round limit BS?
  2. Funny about this too. Being as I lived and resided in Delaware where the laws were dramatically different my current handguns were legally purchased there and from what I read for NJ moving into the state you are NOT required to register the firearms purchased legally as a resident of another state.
  3. Thanks for all the replies!! Interesting takes all around. I was initially thinking hand gun but the long gun post was enlightening is definitely something that sounds simpler and gives me a reason to get a good long gun now lol. Sounds like I have some limited choices overall: Girlfriend needs to get her NJFID/Pistol permits to arm up at the crib Move out of NJ Take a chance and bring it (after establishing the prerequisite aqua velva and undies for a period of time) hoping no one ever finds out and/or I have to use it thusly potentially avoiding vast legal bills and/or imprisonment lol. What's the famous line better to be judged by 12 than carried by them? I'm liking #1 in the short term, and definitely #2 (tee hee)
  4. I'm a legal owner and always was curious on NJ law regarding staying the night or a few nights somewhere in NJ other than you primary residence with your legal firearm. Can you do that? What if you have to use it to defend yourself or your hosts? Is it legal to transport if not from a gun store/range to home or vice versa? So an example, I go to stay at my girlfriends home for a night or a week and legally transport my gun there. I keep it secure there is that legal? If someone broke in and I was cornered and exhausted all reasonable means to get away and had to defend myself how does that change not being my residence? I know NJ is crazy with self defense in your own home as it is, but am curious how this would work and if plausible?
  5. Collingswood checking in. Applied the last business day before NYE 2017 and just got my FID last month so about 7 months. They did throw in 3 pistol licenses without any additional paperwork needed.
