  1. I really want that "Im your huckleberry" magazine in that picture.
  2. Exactly, and this needs to be thrown in the face of every liberal out there. They are making the argument that this last shooter in Illinois legally obtained the firearms. Well good news libtards, now if a psycho obtains firearms legally in the state of NJ, he gets training on how to use it first. Just goes to show these politicians pander just for votes. None of this makes any logical sense to actually deter gun violence.
  3. Picking it up today. Permit was approved yesterday. So weird that you don't get a physical copy of the permit, apparently its just "in the system". So 86 days total from start to finish for the 1 handgun permit.
  4. So I contacted the GTPD today, naturally the story is, backlog backlog backlog. Which is fine I guess, I can believe that as the state obviously doesn't dedicate the manpower to processing applications. But was more surprising to me is that they changed the whole process for the handgun permits. Some point between now and last year they went entirely digital. He said I will no longer get a physical copy of the permit, the state police will email a copy of it to me. You also have to pay the $2.00 permit fee ONLINE, no longer is it accepted in person. It's literally a little link that says PAY NOW! on the firearms page of the GTPD website. Had I not called nearly 56 days later, I assume the permit never would have been processed. https://gtpolice.com/programs/firearms-registration/
  5. Gonna contact them first, because I was gonna purchase on Buds.
  6. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID). 1 Permit 2. Police Department where you applied. Gloucester Twp 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. ONLINE 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. Filed March 23rd, Still waiting. 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). Driver's License Pissing me off too waiting this long cus I keep missing the sales of the one ive been looking to get. Thinking about giving them a call this week to see what's up.
  7. Yeh all thing's considered, its not as bad as I thought it would be. Certain municipalities in jersey are well known for holding up FID's and permits for months. I had my FID in about 30 days or so, and my pistol permit in about a month and a half. I can live with the NICS taking 3 days or so given the volume. My brother had to wait like 6 months for his FID, granted this was about a decade ago but that's how it was back then in our twp. His NICS checks used to come back in less than 5 minutes but the wait for the permits always took forever.
  8. Nah not my first one but my first revolver. Taurus 627 Tracker I picked up in mint condition off gunbroker.
  9. FFL contacted me tonight, so Saturday morning until about 7pm tonight.
  10. FFL submitted my paperwork today for my new Taurus, so lets see how long it takes. If i had to hedge my bets, id say probably by Wed.
  11. You built that yourself? Very nice. I've been looking at possibly building for the first time but I am a little unclear about what happens when you buy a lower? Obviously that is the part that is registered but when you buy a lower do you have to state what the classification of the gun will be? Pistol, Rifle, or other firearm?
  12. I ordered from LAX Ammo in Cali 2 weeks ago, but they require you send a copy of your DL and FID to actually ship to NJ. No problem there since the price was right but I have never heard of that actually being required. Unless that's a cali thing for them as a dealer.
  13. FINALLY got my hands on a Ruger AR556. Immediately put the magpul hand guard on it. Got a SIG optic coming for it, then I'll have to take some sexy pics. I got my eyes on a Troy next, just gritting my teeth spending more money right now. Can never have too many guns though, am I right?
  14. NICS came back last night, they contacted me this morning for pickup. So went from last Thursday to this Wed. for approval.
  15. lol I agree but honestly I have no interest in buying more than one right now. Planning on moving to America soon anyway.
