I'm also in the process of getting my hunting license so I can shoot at Clinton WMA. Like the OP I have no intention of hunting, just want to use the range as its right down the road. Best beaches IMO in terms of being left alone to enjoy yourself. Corolla especially. No one is going to bust your balls about drinking (big difference from NJ). JCP&L is staging in the parking lot of the McDonalds on Route 31 in Washington. Or at least that's where I just saw them tonight :-) I also live near Clinton. Today and yesterday the major traffic lights at 173/Main St/Rt 78 were out. No sign of cops directing traffic anywhere. Surprised there werent any accidents at that intersection (that I know of). I have the Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 on my Ruger 10/22. It's a very nice optic for the price. I have it sighted in very well and it's lights out at 75 yards. 100 yards I am still on steel most of the time, past that it's hit or miss (or maybe it's just my aim). a long gun that I purchased on Buds got delivered to my FFL on Friday and when I called to tell them I would be coming in they took my info over the phone. They said they wanted to start processing the NICS check ahead of time so I didn't have to wait. Took a few hours for them to call me back to let me know it was done. Hi all, Been lurking on the site for a while and figured it was time to join the masses so I could share this gem of an editorial article with you. I live in Clinton and receive the weekly "Today in Hunterdon" newspaper. It's a mostly left-leaning publication that's always good for a laugh. Anyway, here's the "Letter to the Editor" I want to share. All spelling and grammar mistakes were printed as is. Imagine that... someone equating the Vegas massacre to the killing of Tonka the dog. Wish I could say I'm surprised but unfortunately I've accepted that these people exist and we share Rt. 78 every morning. Scary.
