  1. Ml season is almost as good as bow... but you need to buy the permits for ML...AND have a NJ rifle permit...5 bucks as i recall...foe the rifle permit.... You can hunt all Jan..on ML...as i recall... The compendium had the data... 45 or better... I hunted with a 54.... 45 too light..and 50cal 45 sabots suck
  2. Now you are talking ! Missing the sight hood as they all are - what's the serial range? Would like to compare it to mine.... Well - if that 40X is yours - AND you want it to go someday - it would fit VERY nicely in my .22 collection LOL
  3. I pulled my mossberg and remington book - that picture is a Remi 40X - the wrong image loaded LOL BEAUTIFUL RIFLE ! I love my 513 - but always wanted a 40X
  4. I have never seen a 44 with that stock profile ! Looks like a remington stock...and the action is way different !! Cool !
  5. ** These magazines reside out of state and can only be shipped to anywhere other than the state of NJ, or other locations that do not have magazine restrictions ** Glock 19 Magazine LOT - Six (5) OEM - One (1) with Vickers baseplate - One (1) with a Pearce plus 1 baseplate - Four (3) with Glock base plate Two (2) KCI Mag $ 125.00 shipped USPS mail insured - First post in the thread with an unconditional I will take them, or a negotiated PM that I will take it - that is fine. *however*, if you want anonymity - PM will suffice ** I WILL NOT SHIP THESE TO ANY LOCATION IN NJ OR OTHER JURSIDICTION THAT HAS MAGAZINE RESTRICTIONS **
  6. Exactly my point...most people lose track...and spend spend spend... That's the problem....then they complain when the bill comes due. Disney got better and better as the kids got older and older...at least for us. It works this way, you either love disney or you hate it...it is very hard to find an in between.
  7. There are ways to do Disney and there ways not to do Disney... Those that do go and enjoy the entirety of the experience, it is not just parks...get the most benefit I have been as many as five and as little as two times a year for the past, 15 years with my family. We did the vacation club route and it has worked nicely along with season passes. One off trips if planned badly, can result in increased costs, line standing and a less than enjoyable time. 138ish days till i get back.... cannot wait. Prices have increased over the years, especially the food and wine festival, i have been to almost all 13/15.... but if you strategically plan, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg. One trick.... don't pay with the magic band...that is a no brainer.
  8. Doesn't work that way.....what works is: 1) either an immediate unconditional ill take it in the thread, followed by PM by the buyer ,or, 2) a negotiation that has been agreed to via PM, without an immediate unconditional ill take it in the thread, that results in a SPF by the seller. As you can see, you didn't get the ill take it in, before the aforementioned negotiation took place resulting in an agreed to SPF post. The next logical choice, as no funds have changed hands, is "ill take it if the deal falls through" or commonly called seconds. If you would.like to be next in line, in case it falls through, post that.
  9. 10. That is very true....but millions are out there for the taking
  11. .276 Pedersen, which held ten rounds in its unique en-bloc clips That was the original plan....LOL
  12. Wow - but I do not see a market for them - There are MILLIONS out there in the hands of OLD Crumudgeons that have history with them - once they all start dying they will flood the market and can be had for a song. I always said M1's were not a good investment for that reason - too many around. I cannot see how they are going to make money - when you can go the CMP route. The only way to make money in M1's is sell them NOW.
  13. That's a big maybe....it s surplus military fiber stock...that is brownish already...i just might !
  14. Makes me want to get my mat out and just screw with some steel at 100....it just fun twanging it.... What I DONT get...and why i move the bench... Is why if you cam move the bench, some don't? I mean your not going to have a bench in real life...shoot standing offhand...shoot kneeling sitting slinged up...shoot PRONE....off a backpack etc.... I see all these guys at the bench and i wonder how they would shoot without it...
  15. Thanks - hope it shoots - Bed the mount to the action and did the whole loctite gig - red right? LMAO Been a bit obsessed in reading about it - a great article I read was about - MPBR - Maximuum Point Blank Range with M80 7.62 Ball ammo - should be useable 0-275 yards - with a rise/drop of 1.5"/ 3" +/- before the 4MOA dot becomes a hinderance - some say minute of man with a 4MOA to 350yds etc. 1) I do not foresee a need to shoot with this rifle further than that - 2) The M1A/M14, if it does MOM for me, that is fine out to useable ranges, anything further you would be better served by a bolt gun IMO The idea a like is the quick application of target acquisition with a robust round. Also been obsessed with 9-Hole reviews....
  16. IMO - and like asssholes and noses we all have them... 1) Great active shooter at the mall and you are outside running in with a shotgun - responding units cannot identify you from friend or foe - odds are your down. 2) Home invaders holding your family? is your family not practiced in the usage of firearms that are at home...? This is the best one and one I have thought about... 3) Turn the corner and a mob is closing in on you. Why leave the protection of the vehicle to grab a trunk weapon with limited ammo etc. Perform any vehicular maneuvers you can to avoid the crowd...if it is in the trunk you are not getting to it if you cannot get away from the mob... Look we all do what we think is correct - and rehearsal of possible scenarios is good ! But in the state of NJ you are hamstrung in many scenarios for self defense, one additional reason why I am leaving.

FID etc. ALL REQUIRED
  19. I think the shotgun you have in the car, unloaded, would be useless due to length and being unloaded, in a real world scenario... You could never, again imo, in a critical event get it uncased, loaded and brought to action without getting pummeled while doing so. If you going to carry a gun, carry it loaded and ready to action in milliseconds to seconds... Every see the videos of guys advancing with knives, running and closing distance in seconds on LEO'S.... 30-40 seconds is an eternity and your already dead.
