Red Dot - Alternative to Aimpoint Micro H2?
nondisclosure replied to MichaelDiggs's topic in AR Discussion
The trijicon mro has a 5 year battery life with the optic on at medium setting, which is conveniently too bright at the range. Just an FYI. -

What is it? Looks sweet! I have a red dot on mine but I think I'm going to a 1-6 scope and not sure where to put my money. Lol

He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.” — Luke 22:36, NIV Jesus was pro self defense. -

My last purchases were relatively small so this may have been why I've never noticed. Not that the case was expensive, but I did notice the few dollar increase in price after checkout. I may have to start ordering ammo from cabelas given the discounts that are offered. 25$ for 50rd box of .45 is adding up!

Amazon charged me sales tax on a case I ordered last night. I was surprised to say the least when I clicked buy at x price, then looked back and saw a few dollar increase when I checked out. I haven't noticed this before. Seems a few more places are doing this as well, not just cabelas.

Not quite. She would never approve.

Not mine but the color filled looks great. Can't wait to get mine!

I actually ordered it with color fill! Long wait time though!

Not too bad. I saw the CJ layout and it looks cool. The prices are right and that's a good thing! Danno, I may take you up on that offer but that may have to wait until after Thanksgiving. I would be interested in signing up for the 2018 year.

I've read the 27 pages of nj gun law but I am trying to follow the rules of the land, without getting in trouble so I am exercising a lot of caution. Those specifically labeled are banned I thought. Everything else I was under the impression was okay but given how in NJ you are guilty until proven innocent with any firearms related mistakes, Id rather not play with fire.

Ok great. That's what I wondered- if it's semi then it would or shouldn't swing all the way around was my guess. So it's perfectly fine here in NJ? Trying to be 100% compliant because the lwrc I wanted was a bit out of my price range.
-
Hello, would owning this receiver cause any issues in the state of New Jersey because of the third option where auto would be (it won't be auto obviously) ? Obviously a semi auto has two options and it won't flip that far back. thought the receiver was cool but I want to be cautious.

Do I have to be an NRA life member or can I just show my 5 year card?

Thank you! I've been on their site all morning! Much appreciated.

Hi, I've shot at a few ranges and I've done the regular paper shooting. When I go to Vermont a few times a year, I get to shoot steel and am able to shoot outside on the side of a mountain on private property. Here in NJ, it seems nearly impossible to join a club or range that has pits, steel targets and is outside. I do know fort dix has outside shooting but was also considering being able to bench shoot or go prone. Are there any clubs that don't charge $1000+ on membership, have pits, and allow shooting in a variety of manners along with steel targets? I am in Union county and don't mind driving within an hour or so to enjoy shooting at steel, while benched or prone. Also looking to do said shooting with both pistol and rifle, so I was also hoping 50-200 yard distances were available. Are there any ranges within these parameters anywhere in central to north jersey or am I asking for too much? Thank you in advance!

Stag arms has an SBR 14.5" barrel that comes out to 16" with a yankee hill machine break that comes pinned and welded and NJ compliant on their site. It's a bit cheaper than some of the spikes I've seen around $350 or so and currently on sale.

I fish there all the time!
