I'm thinking I won't be doing any transporting anytime soon!

They say that a conservative from Massachusetts is a screaming liberal anywhere else. I said for my whole life that I would live anywhere and pursue my career anywhere, EXCEPT NEW JERSEY. Yet here I am. I found an amazing job at a great church that I couldn't pass up. I'm pleased with my job, home and community. I don't like the gun laws.

Thanks for the info. I'm learning quickly that much of the gun culture I knew, even in MA, is taboo here. Here's a question: what qualifies as a trunk? I drive a hatchback, so technically I always have access to the "trunk." If I were to travel with a firearm, unloaded and strapped down [or something] would I be breaking a law, as it is in the same contained space as I am?

Christ Our Light - anti-2A Catholic parish in Cherry Hill

These guys may not be popular with Catholics, however, a biblical understanding of justified weapon possession and use can be heard in this video. -
Thanks Zeke!

NJ arrests another one, this time from FL
JohnnieHaddad replied to Howard's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
When did it become relevant to pursue her possession of a firearm when he pulled her over for having tinted windows? Even when seeing a license to carry, there's no way it's relevant to even ASK if she has a gun on her. -
Are those "legal" due to the shape of the grip? ie. not pistol style? And may I ask the price? I'm very interested!

Thank you very much! Once I get my buying permit, I may be paying you a visit!
-
Thank you. I will abide by the law, however, I think that is absurd.
-
I lost my "sanity" when my local PD told me that in order to apply for a carry license I must supply a recent and pressing threat on my life. If I was presented a recent and pressing threat on my life, while myself abiding by the NJ gun laws, I would be dead, thus negating any need for a license to carry. What happened to "constitutional rights"? Isn't this beautiful state in the US?

I've been really impressed by the HK45, and USP45, as well as Glock 21.

Thanks! I didn't see that in the gun law sticky

One question: What muzzle devices are permissible on AR-15 style rifles, given they are not listed among the forbidden ones? I see that flash hiders are illegal, does that extend to brakes or compensators?

Thank you very much! I read through majority of it. I appreciate the time that must have gone into putting that up on here. Thanks!
