  1. How do you know the Honda guy wasn't rushing someone to the hospital, or had some other emergency?? Oh, you don't... It's amazing what some people "SEE" when watching the same video...
  2. Bud's back, with another Clydesdale and Dog commercial. And, good choice, it's a Labrador Retriever!! A Clydesdale's Journey The message: “In the home of the brave, down never means out.”
  3. Here you go kids, for those of you who think the white PU driver has no fault in this, a longer version of the video that wasn't cut, showing the PU dude being an asshole, brake-checking and blocking the Honda before the crash:
  4. In the "You Can Make This Up" files, FREE (and contaminated) masks are rolling out at the pharmacies. Look how they are being distributed. Laying loose on the tables, not wrapped, and able to be handled by anyone passing by.... But, but, but.... they'll protect you.... ...."Walgreens across the country are receiving shipments of N95 masks today. These free masks are now out at #Walgreens on McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater! Limit 3 per customer. Free government masks. What’s wrong with this picture? So stupid it hurts. Federal free mask program begins today at KC area grocery stores, pharmacies. Reporter @MMobleyKCTV5 breaks down the local COVID numbers, and where you can get your free N95 masks.

I hope you jumped out of Metaverse before yesterday: ......"Shares of Facebook parent Meta were down more than 23% Thursday after the company forecasted weaker-than-expected revenue growth in the next quarter. It also said it’s taking a big hit from Apple’s privacy changes, and showed the first quarterly decline in daily active users on record. The stock is on pace for its biggest one-day drop ever, ahead of the 19% plummet it saw in July 2018. Thursday’s drop is set to shave about $210 billion from its market cap, bringing it to about $689 billion. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/03/facebook-shares-plummet-22percent-after-reporting-weak-guidance.html
  6. Depleting your ammo fort? Haven't you guys been paying attention the last handful of years, and been stocking up, like good Boy Scouts?
  7. If you signed into the 1A lounge, you would have already seen a thread:
  8. Yeah, but think of all the money you've saved, by not blowing through all that expensive ammo.
  9. I'd like to say I'm sad about this, but I'm not.... Wish it was worse: Facebook Plummets 20% After Missing Across The Board; US Users Drop, Guidance Disappoints In an instant shares wiped out a year of gains. Unfortunately if it really depends on Facebook then we have a problem because moments ago Facebook reported EPS and DAU which both missed, and while the company beat modestly on revenues, the kicker was the company's revenue guidance was well below expectations, and as a result the stock is crashing a whopping 16% 23% after hours. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/facebook-plummets-16-after-missing-across-board-guiding-below-expectations
  10. Probably close to zero, maybe in the next 100 years, since I have everything I need now.. I think if I was really concerned, or needed propane for different appliances, I'd bury a 250 or 500 gallon tank. Why stop at 100? But what was interesting with Sandy, I started out with a couple of 20 lb tanks, but then when it looked like it was going to be a longer duration, I was able to get additional 20 lb tanks for cash at a gas station that was without power. Also, one grocery store that was accepting cash had a rack of tanks outside. So, I was able to get the additional tanks I needed, and I didn't get shot by one shotgun..
  11. So, they drove to Pittsburgh to get fuel? So, that happened with most stations a few days after the storm hit?
  12. You're going to worry about a simple shotgun, when your kids are freezing, your cell phones are dead and everything in your fridge is defrosted? Just make sure to note who in your neighborhood is a Liberal, and go get their tanks. They don't have any guns. Just remember, the Zombies eat the weak ones first.
  13. Is it time to assume the position?? A 500,000 miss.... Private payrolls fell by 301,000 for January versus the estimate for a 200,000 gain, according to payrolls processing firm ADP. This was the first reported net job less since December 2020 and came as surging omicron cases hit hiring. The pandemic-sensitive leisure and hospitality industry was the hardest hit, losing 154,000 jobs. Companies cut jobs in January for the first time in more than a year as the spread of the Covid omicron variant appeared to hit hiring, payroll processing firm ADP reported Wednesday. Private payrolls fell by 301,000 for the month, well below the Dow Jones estimate for growth of 200,000 and a marked plunge from the downwardly revised 776,000 gain in December. It was the first time ADP reported negative job growth since December 2020. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/02/adp-jobs-report-january-2022.html
  14. In a SHTF situation, anything goes... Ever hear of "Midnight Auto Parts". That's true, but in a grid down situation, who's coming to refill it? That's what makes the 20 lb more realistic, you can find them anywhere. Remember Sandy, we were without power 8 days... many people burned through their fuel storage in a few days, then what...
  15. Looks like they're here, right across the river. ....."Two motorists were carjacked at separate Wawa gas stations in Pennsauken in the past month while filling their vehicles’ tires with air, authorities said. Both stolen vehicles were later found in Camden. No arrests have been made in either carjacking, though investigations are ongoing. https://www.nj.com/camden/2022/02/drivers-carjacked-at-wawa-air-pumps-in-2-separate-incidents-in-same-nj-town-cops-say.html
  16. Watch the video again, he accelerated to block/pinch the Honda behind the car in the slow lane. Had he maintained his speed, Honda dude would have had a clear path around the car in the slow lane and back into the passing lane in front of the PU.
  17. Who's willing to convert to Vegan?? I'm not... 150 Meat Trucks Stranded At US-Canada Border As Protests Continue ....."The U.S. is Canada's largest export buyer for beef and Canada's largest importer supplier. Any disruption to the meat trade between both countries would have severe consequences for meat processors in Canada and consumers in the US. Days after the "Freedom Convoy" of truckers protesting vaccine mandates in Ottawa, the country's capital, protests are spreading to US-Canadian border crossings and furthering logistical headaches. Bloomberg reports 150 trucks packed with beef, bound for the US, are stuck in a traffic jam at the border at Coutts, Alberta, the Canadian Meat Council said. Since the weekend, a convoy of truckers has slowed processing times between Alberta and Montana. https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/150-meat-trucks-stranded-us-canada-border-protests-continue
  18. Anyone get their FREE test kits yet? On another forum, people mentioned this was the one they received... MADE IN CHINA (where the virus came from)... You really can't make this stuff up...
  19. I agree. My generator is propane, for all the reasons you mentioned, and has a rack on it that holds 20 lb tanks. I bought it because I knew 20 lb tanks are all over the place. In the SHTF situation, just about every backyard has a 20 lb tank attached to their grill, so it would be easy to "harvest" tanks, if need be... Plus, propane never goes bad or stale, and doesn't foul the carb.
