  1. Ahhh, these guys get it. Never understood why people pay double or triple for a status symbol, when both phones do the same thing. Plus, with Android, you're not locked into proprietary services. Me neither, I have an older Droid. Never had issues, people ask me why I don't upgrade every year. Why? Do calls and texts operated differently when you spend $1000 a year on a new phone?
  2. Isn't that the same thing Democrats do with the constitution, and claim it's a living, breathing document that can be interpreted at will?
  3. Even worse, if the story is true, it was a off duty LEO. What happen to upholding the constitution?
  4. Someone on another forum said he had a deflector on the AR to deflect the casings to the front.
  5. Unfortunately, "must" and "will" are two completely different animals. With a +1 conservative lean in the SCOTUS, and Roberts going all SJW lately, it's a crap shoot.

  7. Vox is so far Left, if the Earth was flat, they would fall off the edge.
  8. My two references said it's exactly the same as the paper form, just filled out online instead of mailed.
  9. Exactly... you would have thought WaPo and NYT, along with Rachel Maddow would have been all over that story: ...." MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Somali government troops shot dead three Islamist militants holed up in a building in central Mogadishu on Friday, police said, ending a day-long bomb and gun attack that killed at least 29 civilians. Islamist al Shabaab fighters launched the assault with a suicide car bomb outside the Maka Al-Mukarama hotel on Thursday evening, destroying other structures, igniting a huge fire and leaving people wounded in the rubble. The militants - who are fighting to overthrow the Western-backed government - fled to a neighboring building and opened fire on special forces and other soldiers sent to flush through out throughout Friday. " https://www.reuters.com/article/us-somalia-security/somali-militant-siege-ends-at-least-29-civilians-dead-idUSKCN1QI3K4 I guess they couldn't blame that attack on Trump, so it didn't get any news coverage here.
  10. This is true, here's the latest totals, but you'll never hear about them on the MSM: List of Killings in the Name of Islam: Last 30 Days During this time period, there were 106 Islamic attacks in 21 countries, in which 707 people were killed and 745 injured. https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/attacks/attacks.aspx?Yr=Last30 This web site tracks them all.
  11. Nobody came up with the obvious: Gunner Or, to add some European twang: Gunnar What does Gunnar mean? Gunnar is a male first name of Nordic origin (Gunnarr in Old Norse). The name Gunnar means fighter, soldier, and attacker, but mostly is referred to by the Viking saying which means Brave and Bold warrior (gunnr "war" and arr "warrior").
  12. I hope this picks up more and more with other counties. They seem to be following what other counties did in Oregon and Colorado. Let's hope it's a positive trend. ...."The resolution declaring “Gun Sanctuary” was posted on Facebook by Cherokee County Commissioner CB McKinnon. The resolution affirms that the right to keep and bear arms comes from God, not government. It explains that Second Amendment rights are one of many natural rights on which the Constitution of our Republic stands. The resolution says, “Natural Law Rights, given to each of us by Our Creator, are the basis of our Constitution by which they are protected and secured to each of us. Natural Law Rights, including that of self-protection, are guaranteed by our Laws, our History, and our Traditions.” Therefore, the Cherokee County Government will not authorize or appropriate government funds, resources, employees, agencies, contractors, buildings, detention centers or offices for the purpose of enforcing or assisting in the enforcement of any element of such acts, laws, orders, mandates, rules or regulations, that infringe on the right by the people to keep and bear arms as described and defined in detail above."
  13. What if the Dems are playing a game? Shoot high, with a whole list of crazy requirements, then go back and negotiate it down to only a couple of them? Very common tactic, ask for a lot more than you're willing to settle for, then negotiate down to what you really want. Then, both parties will say they got something out of the deal.
  14. From the NYT (and you know how they hate guns): ...." The survey indicates that a growing number of gun owners are like Ms. Alcazar — they cite personal safety as a major incentive for owning a gun. In 1994, 46 percent of respondents chose protection as the primary reason to own a gun. Two decades later, 63 percent of respondents made that selection. (In the first survey, participants could select just one reason for ownership. In the second, they could choose several.) Applications for concealed-carry permits have hit records in some places, giving rise to a group of people who consider themselves part of a concealed-carry lifestyle. Ms. Alcazar, who bought a gun in 2013 after an armed man took five girls hostage at her daughter’s middle school, counts herself among them. " https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/10/12/us/handguns-gun-ownership-survey.html
  15. That is the BIGGEST issue, if only a few were CCW, the whole situation would have stopped quicker. The government has tried tio do it's best to disarm us, making ups sitting ducks for the next deranged shooter. Karl Denninger has a real, straight forward article on this topic. First he says everyone should watch the video, just to see first hand how a slaughter happens with a group of people who can't defend themselves. Then, he touches on the fact that our RIGHT to self-defense has been taken away from us. He big on "Shall Not Be Infringed". Everyone should read this: http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=235323 He also has a couple of similar articles on his main page: http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?blog=Market-Ticker
  16. Didn't you just describe the current group of Democrat politicians in the House, with all the unconstitutional 2A bills introduced recently?
  17. Not to worry. The LAST place I would move is next to you and your Liberal buddies in Bucks County.
  18. Time to scratch PA off the list as a relocation state.
  19. Except that would be a lie for most people (but apparently lying isn't an issue for you). Many people buy firearms for home defense and they go to the range to practice. What would these "friends" of yours say if you told them you wanted a gun to shoot bad guys in your house? Or, if you said you wanted guns so you could go off in the woods and shoot animals?
  20. ....." The lawsuit against Remington is bogus. It has little to do with Connecticut commercial law and everything to do with a substantive gun-control agenda and the opportunistic inclination to wring money from institutions that have a great deal of it. The second is political opportunism, the attempt to establish the precedent that failing to go along with the progressive political agenda makes one an enemy of the state, subject to political sanction and criminal prosecution. The crime here was committed by Adam Lanza. But he isn’t the one with the money, and there’s no political juice in going after him." Once again, this follows the BIG picture. The gun grabbers are going after all sides of the issue, while the 2A community sits on their hands and does NOTHING. They are WINNING, and we are LOSING. Period.
  21. It's a nice belief thinking that SCOTUS will reverse these laws, but in reality, it's an extreme long shot. The SCOTUS hears/argues only 1% of cases presented to them. They get thrown 7000 - 8000 cases a year, but only argue 70 - 80. To think that they'll take on these 2A cases, when there is currently only a +1 conservative lean, isn't realistic. Thinking the SCOTUS is going to save us is a fairy tale, this is why I believe the 2A community needs to take these matters in their own hands and fight fire with fire. These ridiculous bills will continue to be introduced, as the Dem lawmakers have no blow back. They'll just keep throwing crap on the wall, hoping one will finally stick.
  22. The question is, how does the 2A community stop these crazy Bills from even being written and considered? Also, with this level of attack, who still thinks PA is a "safe", 2A friendly state to move to?
