  1. Now there's a guy with the right solution! Ha.. That's usually the only time I catch some heat, when she goes to put her new pairs of shoes into the closet, and there's a new case of ammo in the place she was going to put the shoes.
  2. ...." Just like smartphones, communications on a flip or feature phone are just as vulnerable to intercept as they are on a smartphone. In fact, maybe even more so because you can’t put your own encryption on a flip or feature phone and many flip phones have only rudimentary scrambling that can easily be turned off by any hacker. But flip phones are certainly not “safer” than smartphones. For example, flip phones have GPS chips and your location can be tracked on a flip just as well as you can be tracked on a smartphone. And SMS, email and pictures can be easily intercepted by government organizations as well as by hackers." https://www.huffingtonpost.com/rebecca-abrahams/is-hollywood-going-back-t_b_6254356.html
  3. Update 11: Now the Democrats are trying to do a "Kavanaugh" on him: ....." Attacks on my family- Just want to let you guys know everything is ok with us. After Jimmy Kimmel and Alyssa Milano came after me personally it triggered an outpouring of attacks. People have been calling for the death of my wife and children; it will not be tolerated. Please do your best to report anything you see like this to the proper authorities. WE WILL NOT BE DETERRED! KEEP RALLYING! " $16,365,715 of $1.0B goal Raised by 269,029 people in 6 days

I read somewhere where they consider a thumbhole stock the same as a pistol grip. I need to go search and see if maybe it was on the "on deck" bill.
  5. I did one a few months ago with a PSA lower build kit, no problem. I just replaced the PSA trigger with a LaRue, didn't have any issues either. Do you have a small C clamp (or vice grips) that you can use to press in the pins?
  6. Great deal for a basic AR or newbie looking to get into the sport and build one. PSA 16" Classic M4 Freedom Upper with BCG & Charging Handle, OD Green - 7780181 $220. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-classic-freedom-m4-odg-upper-with-bcg-and-charing-handle-7780181.html Palmetto State Armory Magpul MOE Lower Build Kit, Black - 598 $90. https://palmettostatearmory.com/moe-lower-build-kit-black.html PSA AR-15 Lower Safe/Fire - 1728 $40. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-ar-15-lower-safe-fire-1728.html
  7. Now you know why Google gives everyone Gmail for FREE. Tons of FREE data to harvest. It's because YOU'RE the product being sold. Why anyone uses Gmail (or Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, etc.), is WAY beyond me.

You might want to tread carefully if it's a new purchase. There is current a Bill sitting in the bullpen in Trenton that reduces it to ONE evil feature. They're just waiting for the right tragedy to bring it to the mound. Get something that can be easily modified, if necessary.
  9. It was such a nice sunny day, who knew that one rogue wave would come and tip over the canoe.
  10. In all honesty, if someone has the Facebook app on their phone, they already gave willingly ALL their privacy and EVERYTHING they do on that phone to Zuckerfuck. Nobody reads the Permissions they give apps on their phone. EVERYTHING! All their texts, all their contacts, all the web sites they visit, all your email, all their App data, all their log-ins to banks, credit cards, all their phone call data, all their location data, access to pictures, access to SIM cards and every other thing they touch or swipe. And that's before all the voluntary info, pictures, data, comments they directly post on Facebook. The NSA really appreciates all the FREE data everyone sends them.
  11. "Alexa and Google, what's Facebook?"
  12. Back on the point Mrs. Peel made about having a plan. I was thinking, this can present an obstacle with the new laws in the state. In the past, if something happened, wifey could transfer your collection to your best shooting buddy with a simple COE. Now, with the new law, it has to be done by a FFL and a background check. This is something everyone needs to think about and plan for. Also, the new Red Flag law in the state. If something happens where the gun owner has a temporary "mental breakdown" or serious argument, they can open themselves up to a "visit" by LEO regarding the Red Flag law. Everyone should consider "Plan B" if they think that might happen to you. Also, for the guys who don't share with their wives their collection, do you have alternative plans in case something happens to you short of dying, like a major disability, getting hurt at work, and can't use/access your collection. Is there someone available (like a family member) who can step in?
  13. Ha.. We have an agreement. She doesn't question me on what I spend on guns or tools (or my dog), and I don't question her on what she spends at Kohls, Target, Amazon, the Mall, furniture, etc... Seems to work out fine!
  14. That's a good point. My firearms is probably the only thing that is secret to here, primarily because she doesn't want to know. We have one primary bank account, share all other financial access, all legal documents, and everything else. If she came directly to me and asked to see my collection, I would readily show her, but that would probably never happen.
  15. I prevented that from going on here. I installed a separate safe for her jewelry, this way she doesn't have to go near or in my safes.
  16. OK, I'll be the first to bite, since I fit your description. In my house, my wife has specifically said she doesn't like my hobby and wants no part of it. BUT, she respects the fact that I'm entitled to my hobbies, and she respects and allows me to do what I want with it. So, it doesn't provide any value to share with her what's in my collection. With her, she prefers "out of sight, out of mind". This is a great point, and everyone needs a plan. So, here's what I've done to eliminate all the concerns you mentioned. First, I had both of my sons get their FID cards. Second, I went back and made specific directions in my Will on what happens to my collection. Wifey knows if I go out in a car wreck tomorrow, she doesn't even have to be concerned with dealing with or getting rid of my firearms. That responsibility immediately passes to my sons. I'll touch on that too. Some woman can really have some bad tempers and can get really emotional. I'm not sure I would want to give my wife access to my firearms if she had those type of issues. Sometimes it's better to not let her know. So, it could be humor, or it could be self-preservation... you can take it both ways.
  17. That was something I was wondering about. Between newbies and unknown guests, and all the activity, do you really feel safe with all that "hardware" easily available to anyone? A newbie signing on here today with a anonymous screen name, and showing up next week at one of these shootouts with a shotgun could be a cause for concern, if there's not a structure to control activity. It would really ruin your day to have a "Dick Cheney" moment.
  18. Will they sell a long gun with a "evil" feature (ie: telescoping stock that you'll have to pin) to you, or do they strictly follow NJ laws?
  19. How about a Ridgeline? It's a SUV on the inside, but has a bed and a trunk for carrying stuff. Back seat folds up to carry big stuff inside. I have a Ridgeline with 60K miles, 3.5L motor. Best, reliable vehicle I've ever owned. I was a Dodge guy before this, won't go back.
  20. That's the one I posted in the Christmas lower thread. On sale for $49. It is modeled after the yellow Gadsden Flag with the snake image.
  21. It's trying hard to get to that lower level. Based on debt levels, I really wonder where the bottom will finally be?
  22. Did you see how many people contributed to it and the amount so far? Can they be arrested for promoting criminal activity? $103,675 of $100.0M goal Raised by 4,723 people in 1 day Are there that many stupid Democrats??? Oh, wait, don't answer.....
  23. @AVB-AMG, since you think this cause is just a publicity stunt, here is another one (stunt) that I'm sure you can get behind. How much you going to donate? Ladders to Get Over Trump's Wall ...."We saw some folks are raising money for a border wall to keep out our migrant siblings and fellow human beings, who are fleeing violence and persecution and whose tragically-underpaid labor is essential to the U.S. economy. Seems like a bad idea on countless levels for everyone involved. Maybe we should focus on human rights and creating a community that reflects our supposed values. And even though at a rate of $1.7 million daily, it would take their fund about 35 years to raise the $21.7 billion that Trump's own Dept. of Homeland Security says would be needed to build said wall, we wanna make sure ladders are ready to send over to our undocumented friends and help them." https://www.gofundme.com/ladders-to-get-over-trump039s-wall
