  1. Oh, and if you're keeping score.... right now... $11,849,191 of $1.0B goal Raised by 194,515 people in 4 days
  2. @AVB-AMG I believe he was making reference to this part of the constitution: ...."I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;...." That was the Oath he swore to when enlisting. We have an invading, foreign "army" attacking the country from the South. Just because they aren't carrying rifles and other weapons, and aren't wearing matching uniforms, doesn't mean they're not harmful. Most people are donating to make a STATEMENT to your elected officials to get off their asses and do their jobs that they were hired for. STOP getting your news from CNN and NYT. Go to the GoFundMe site. He's researched and explains how this money can be spent on the wall.
  3. Wait, why... I just want to set my target at 225 yards?
  4. Just a reminder, starting now, if anyone is interested to see if this guy is legit.
  5. Another interesting take for $49: PSA "Snek-15™" AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver Fire Selector: "WAT SNEK" (Safe), "STEP SNEK" (Fire), "MAD SNEK" (Full-Auto) https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-snek-15tm-ar-15-stripped-lower-receiver.html
  6. ....."The House passed a stopgap government-funding measure Thursday night that includes $5.7 billion for President Trump’s wall on the Mexican border and additional security — raising the odds that a shutdown will begin Friday. Passage of the measure over united Democratic opposition passes the hot potato to the Senate, which is set to consider the bill Friday. The bill is not expected to pass the Senate, where Democrats have rejected money for Trump’s wall." https://thehill.com/homenews/house/422387-house-passes-stopgap-bill-with-5b-in-wall-funding BTW, right now: $9,083,159 of $1.0B goal Raised by 149,543 people in 3 days
  7. It's getting a bit more interesting, down another 1500+ since the last post, with no bottom in sight yet.............
  8. Could it possibly embarrass the Dems (not that they would care), that the people could raise $2B, but Congress is unwilling to do it? It will be interesting to see if this momentum keeps going, or if anyone with deep pockets (like @AVB-AMG) jumps in with some BIG donations.
  9. ANJRPC ASKS U.S. SUPREME COURT TO HEAR RIGHT TO CARRY CHALLENGE! Seeks to Overturn NJ's Unconstitutional Carry Law ANJRPC On Litigation Offensive December 20, 2018. ANJRPC today filed a petition for certiorari, asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear its pending challenge to NJ's unconstitutional carry law, which makes it impossible for average law-abiding citizens to carry handguns outside the home for personal protection. If the High Court agrees to take the case, it would be the first time in U.S. history that the Supreme Court directly addresses whether states can regulate carry so extensively as to make it impossible for average law-abiding citizens to qualify for a permit to carry. To see the petition for certiorari in the carry case, click here. "In the Garden State, the right to bear arms has been misconstrued as limited to inside the home only," said ANJRPC Executive Director Scott Bach. "The purpose of this case is to require states like New Jersey to recognize that the constitutional right of responsible citizens to bear arms also includes carry outside the home for personal protection. For far too long, the alleged lack of a decisive interpretation by the U.S. Supreme Court of the right to bear arms outside the home has been exploited by states like New Jersey, which are hostile to the Second Amendment and have done everything in their power to deny this basic civil right to their citizens. This lawsuit aims to change that," said Bach. New Jersey has 30 days to respond to ANJRPC's petition. If the High Court decides to hear the case, oral argument could be heard as soon as October of next year. This development in ANJRPC's carry case follows yesterday's announcement, in the pending magazine ban lawsuit, that ANJRPC has asked the full Third Circuit to reconsider the decision of a 3-judge panel upholding NJ's unconstitutional ban on magazines between 11-15 rounds. ANJRPC is on a litigation offensive to implement the Second Amendment as fully as possible, as fast as possible in the Garden State. ANJRPC thanks NRA-ILA for its tremendous support and guidance in both the carry and mag ban challenges, which have been invaluable. Please support NRA-ILA in its mission, which supports us.
  10. Surprising they wouldn't let the peep bunnies go... I bring a case of generic cola, and shake the crap out of the cans before we set them up. They blowup pretty good.
  11. What I like best about R-14 is that you can have multiple hardware pieces on the bench at the same time, so you can switch off or share if you have someone with you quickly. Being that they're timing between cease fires, if you have to un-case each firearm each time, it's a PITA, and lose valuable time. Plus, you can use more than just paper targets, to add some variety.
  12. Pretty much yelling at everyone who wasn't moving fast enough for him: setting targets, putting up flags, crossing the pad, etc. Coming back from setting targets, I did two quick kicks of brass on the pad going back to my truck. He made sure to quickly "remind" me.
  13. This is true... the guy in the tower with the power of the microphone. We were there last week. Place was half empty, no RO on the pad. But the dude in the tower was having all types of fun with his microphone. I wonder if he gets paid by the word to be a dick......
  14. It's not a NVR, it's an analog HD DVR. I originally wired for a analog system when I put it in years ago, and haven't had the "urge" to climb back through the attic to run Ethernet cables to all locations. Plus that would require replacing all cameras too.
  15. Did you go to the page and read any of the information posted: The government has accepted large private donations before, most recently a billionaire donated $7.5 Million to fund half of the Washington Monument repairs in 2012; this is no different. • How will we get the funds to the right place? We have contacted the Trump Administration to secure a point of contact where all the funds will go upon completion. When we get this information secured we will update. We have many very high level contacts already helping. • Republican Representative Steven Palazzo of Mississippi is introducing legislation to direct the Treasury Department to issue government savings bonds which would allow us to fund the wall with this method. This is just one option, there are others on the table being discussed. • 100% of your donations will go to the Trump Wall. • We are working with a law firm on a legal document that will bind the government to using the funds for the border wall itself, nothing else. Picture of the guy pulling this together:
  16. Wow... up to $4.2 million in 3 days by 68,830 people... Hmmmm, what would happen if 68,000 people marched on DC to take their country back?
  17. It was at 1 Million at dinner time, it's now up to 1.5 million. This thing has legs!
  18. What, don't like the muzzle blast from that guy firing his AR next to you?
  19. Triple-amputee Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage of Florida has decided that if the government isn’t going to do their job to keep America safe by securing the border, then he will. But not alone, of course. Kolfage has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the U.S.-Mexico border wall that President Trump promised to build during his presidential campaign. Kolfage created the campaign on Sunday, which is titled “We the People Will Fund the Wall.” The crowdfunding goal is $1 billion to help fund President Donald Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall — one of the president’s original campaign tent poles and a point of contention on both sides of the aisle. Kolfage page states that "It’s up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling.” “If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall,” Kolfage continues. “That equates to roughly $5 billion, even if we get half, that’s half the wall. We can do this.” https://www.gofundme.com/TheTrumpWall
  20. True, It doesn't have to be right at the camera, but it needs to be behind the field of vision of the camera. If the camera can see the radiator at all, it will show as a big ball of light in the camera image. It really comes down to the actual location of the camera.
